Lovely surroundings, with the rainforest on your door step and the beach only a hop step and a jump away, you feel the stress roll away with the tide. It’s a quiet family atmosphere, where you can go into town if you like but with so much to see and do at your front door you can relax and enjoy.

Bridgette was friendly, professional and a joy to see each morning. She was efficient and thorough with her job. A definite asset to the caravan park.

The wildlife was lovely - lots birds kangaroos & wallabies. The Manager was helpful & friendly. The septic tank was a bit smelly & the old cottage was cold & drafty, but had a great gas heater that warmed the place up quickly. Humble, fibro cottage with a real yesteryear vibe - but had everything required. Beach 5 minute walk away & lots of pretty bush & beach walks with national park surrounds.

Family retreat

Nice little country stay with kangaroos grazing around the cabins on the evening and mornings. Manager showed is the difference between the cabin i had booked and a larger one as my son is in a wheel chair.. so we took the larger cabin, he also minced the coffee table out of the way fur better access and helped me get my son inside as the step was rather high for him. Due to the rain we were stuck indoors but as it was self contained cabin it was easy to cook dinner. Very pleasant stay.. nice location

We had a lovely stay. The drive from Batemans Bay through the wonderful trees was amazing. We only slept and had breakfast in our little cottage as we had huge days around Batemans Bay to Tilba. The kangaroos were a delight to see. Thank You.

Location, Peace and Nature!

We have stayed number of holiday parks over last few years and this was one of the best experience overall. The location is perfect for those who love any kind of water play or sports and quietness. The owners are super kind and helpful. We definitely will go back and stay longer next time!

Average service which is good but not clean!

Extremely outdated and not very maintained. I have to say the hosts did all they could but I do feel that the room could have (and should have for that matter) been cleaner. Cockroaches in the kitchen, shower and mould in the shower. I had a chat with one of the owners at the cafe and he said 'well we cannot rip up the floor to clean the grout'...but he did have a cleaner come back and clean the room. Later that day we came back to find cockroaches in our shower. I have stayed at this park before and the park across the street. These cabins are rather outdated and need a much better refurb then what they currently offer. If we wanted to stay in a dirty cabin we would have camped but we chose a cabin (and the largest one they had) to avoid that. The owners did apologise and did have it cleaned once but the floors were still extremely dirty and everything is outdated. I hate to have to state that the place was dirty but I feel that I should leave a review that is impartial for other guests. The area is great and I hope they do upgrade the facilities in the cabins as they have upgraded/updated the cafe. Another thing to keep in mind is that showers (even in the cabins) are timed to only 4 minutes which is for water conservation - this I agree with but would have been good if we would have known before hand.

Nice hotel for families and nature lovers

We checked in approx 6pm. We knew the office closed at 5pm - which we were surprised by. Upon arriving it was pitch black and we got our keys and map to our room from the office. The map said cabin 1, we went there - keys would now work, so at about 6.15pm i called the intercom for the manager for help. It was like i had rung the intercom at 2am. He wasn't impressed. He sharply told us the map was directed wrong, and infact our cabin was Dolphin. He did direct us to the cabin and car space, we ordered firewood, and i was told it would be on our verandah. It wasn't. My husband went to get a bag he seen at the other cabin (that we though was ours). When the manager asked him where he got it from my husband replied. To which the manager then said "you are doing my head in mate". Found it odd. Apart from a rough start - my kids and i enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful setting, wildlife & birds.

Excellent for Swimming, kyaking and bushwalking and being in natural surroundings and getting away from it all. Shows children there is more to life than eye pads, computers etc and gave them the experience of lighting a fire and cooking dinner.

Great location at Durras North and short walk to beach and bush. Unfortunately cabin was dated and needed improvements such as new curtains etc. Room smelled dusty/musty. Shared shower facilities were dated and could use an upgrade but were adequate. Large cabin and could be great with some improvements. Would make a great place to camp or bring your own caravan as the location is beautiful.

Close to Beach & Lake

Cabin had everything we needed. Staff are lovely and there are lot's of kangaroos and birds to watch
