Overall we enjoyed our time here because of the location and size of the home. The home and furnishings are quite old (it kind of feels like you are staying at your grandmothers home) and the exterior doors barely lock. Upon our departure, the host had messaged me saying “we would not be invited back” due to us leaving a few rinsed dishes in the sink and a sofa pillow and blanket draping off the couch and some crumbs that my daughter left on the kitchen floor. We are clean and considerate people and were unaware of the perfection check out policy.The owner should also mention that she lives above the garage with her husband. I also saw the owner in the yard, and her grown son and some friends on the on the doc during our stay, which was a bit uncomfortable, and was not communicated to us and was disappointing considering we paid any substantial amount of money to rent this home along with a large cleaning fee.I have attached the photos the owner messaged me. Quite disappointing to be made to feel as though we were terrible guests (which we were not) when we paid 7500 for four nights here.

Family Vacation

We booked this stay for Memorial Day weekend with our family and friends. The home was perfect for all of us and the views are gorgeous. Plenty of games for the kids, dock for our boat, lots of room throughout the house and the check in/check out process was easy. The owners were quick in their response anytime I had a question. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Great home on the lake

Our extended family had a lot of fun staying at the home. There were a ton of board games provided and the kitchen had plenty of utensils. Kids had a blast. I missed that there steps to get into the house and thought it was communicated to us, we missed that part. We had one of our family members who needed help walking but was able to get in with the help of railing on the side. Overall great property.

Family Get Away

We looked for a place that was relaxing and far enough away from everything but yet within reach of amenities—this place was it! It felt like a family home, which is exactly what we wanted. It felt like the home where families spent summer and winter vacations for timeless childhood memories. Additionally, It was fairly close to Yosemite. The owners were quite responsive and helpful. There were instruction through out the house to help with possible issues making for an easy transition into the space.I do recommend the home for anyone with a family. I do see us requesting a stay in the future.

Overall our stay was good.The furniture (sofa) was old and dirty.The owner requested to remove used bedsheets and put used kitchen towels in the washer, place towels on the table ,on front of the washing machine.We have paid for service, so my friends been complaining about all of these requests.We have complied with all requests, but will not come back to this property.

Great house with great hosts

We stayed at Willow Cove Lodge for Thanksgiving weekend. We were 4 families of friends and had plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house is right on the lake but there's no water right at the front at this time. It still has a great view, especially from the kitchen. Thanks again for the hospitality.

Celebration of life.

We came for a celebration of life for my mom. Bass Lake is a place that was near and dear to my mom and my family growing up. Willow Cove was her favorite spot on the lake. From the moment we arrived we felt at home in Willow Cove Lodge. Such a beautiful home with the most incredible owners Cindy and Dennis. Thank you both so much for allowing our celebration to take place at your beautiful property. It was an incredible weekend. It is a trip that will be remembered always by our family. Wonderful for a three-generation gathering!

Willow Cove Lodge was exactly as described and Cindy was an amazing host - always readily available via text or phone. The home is very charming with lovely family memorabilia all around. We are a three-generation family of eight (ages 9 to 70). With bedrooms on all three floors, we were able to spread out and have some privacy. The kitchen was well-stocked and was big enough for multiple cooks and we took advantage of the second refrigerator (with ice maker!) in the shop. The dining area was perfect as we always want a BIG dining table where the eight of us can gather to eat and play card games at night. The location can’t be beat. It’s away from the noise of the main part of the lake but the cove is still big enough to explore on a stand-up-paddle board. Swimming to the sandy “island” in the middle of the cove was fun. We especially loved that this home had a beach (the neighbors were envious). We fished off the dock and tied up a rented ski boat. We enjoyed watching the various ducks, geese, and the diving osprey who had a nest across the cove. AND... the visit by a momma Black Bear and her TWO cubs playing in the yard AND in the water was a highlight of our trip!!! Our stay was over the July 4th weekend and we loved that the home was decorated with festive, patriotic bunting. Our family had such a great time at this very special home. We hope to come back and make more family memories.

Great stay

That like is a cute and magical place. The house is very conveniently located on the lake as well as five minute walk to the little downtown area with a couple restaurants and market. Perfectly located for the Yosemite steam train and entrance to Yosemite park. The waterfall hike, which is like five minutes from the property was absolutely amazing. I recommend it.
