The setting is fantastic, lovely and so relaxing especially the gardens, river, pond with ducks and the refreshing covered outdoor pool. Staff Marinela & Elena are very kind, helpful and efficient. Our room is spacious but minimal storage space. Lots of free parking and safe. Delicious outdoor breakfast by Karina and Cristina. A short drive to the town center. Highly recommended!"

"Our bathroom was broken around the bathtup, the silicone was broken everywhere in the bathroom and the china was broken too.
The music at the breakfast buffet was way too laud. We tried to ask the concierge too turn it down, but nothing happend.

"Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here! "

The only downer was that the WiFi in our cabin didn’t work well and the floor boards creaked a lot which was a bit much during the night. But wouldn’t stop me from recommending staying here. "

The bad: The cabin didn't have a door to the bathroom, the rooms are a bit cold at night as one of the windows were a shutter type which couldn't be closed to a seal - there were blankets though, the WiFi only works in the common area."

"This is the most exciting place I’ve stayed. If we hadn’t gone on any trips outside the hotel, I wouldn’t have felt like I missed out om anything: You have your own rainforest trail, hot springs, wild life, chocolate and coffee farm. With out the crowds!"
