"I had a really lovely stay here for 4 nights on a solo trip. Gorgeous location, really handy free shuttle into Santa Maria a couple of times a day and easy to book a (paid) transfer to and from the airport. Food is off a menu for breakfast and dinner (I opted for half board) good quality and large portions. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. "

"This was my first visit to Cape Verde and I will definitely stay here again on any future visits. The entire property was very neat and clean and reasonably priced. Loved the unique decor. From the front desk to the bartender…Every single member of the staff was super friendly and helpful, even with problems I had trying to move around the country away from the hotel. "Before my trip I couldn't find out if Pestana Tropico or Oasis Atlantico was the best hotel in Praia, so I booked two nights on both. Now I am not in doubt - Pestana Tropico is the best! Only on location is it a bit inferior to Oasis Atlantico, bujt that is more then compensated for by the very service minded staff and the great restaurant.
