Overrated
I don’t know what is 5 stars about this hotel. It was more of a 3 stars: there was a minibar with 2 waters. 2 cocacola and 2 beers and 2 juices, 1 buts and 1 chips. And 3 coffee espresso and 3 tea. There was no help from the lobby people to carry my luggage, and they have only stairs. There was a very old man when I arrived who walled around looking like he is there to help carrying the luggage, because when people check in he just rolls it to the side, but they don’t lift it up the stairs. When I checked out there was a young man and he asked me if I wanted to leave the luggage in storage, and when I said no he said ok just go down the stairs here madam. They don’t help you at all. The room had the standard 3 star things: towels, a bathrobe and slippers, and soap and shampoo. No toothbrush or other small cute toiletaires. This hotel is very proud of their view and swing in the reception, buts its all they have to offer. The breakfast os 30 eur per person, so relax, this is what you get at a dinner for 2 people with starters and a main. I enjoyed the bed and the pillows, very comfortable, but this hotel was definitely not worth my montly house rent for the night.

Totalt beskidt på værelserne. Og der lugtede ekstremt jordslået på værelserne (evt skimmelsvamp). Vi tjekkede ud en dag før - der var simpelthen for beskidt og ulækkert. Det forventer man ikke af et 5-stjernet hotel.

Perfekt placeret i Barcelona
Vi havde fire dejlige dage på hotellet, som ligger helt perfekt placeret i byen. Jeg må dog sige, at hotellet ikke helt lever op til sine fem stjerner. Personalet er søde og rare, men senge, dyner og hovedpuder er virkelig ringe kvalitet og hotellet er overordnet lidt slidt. Men jeg kunne sagtens finde på at bo der igen, til den rette pris :)

Lækkert hotel, men slidt værelse
Fint hotel meget centralt i byen. Værelset virkede slidt. På badeværelset var der noget der lignede mug i brusekabinen og en stikkontakt var ødelagt. Der var tydelige slidmærker på væggen på værelset. Flot bar og poolområde på taget.

We stayed at NH Collection for 5 nights with our two young adult children. We had 2 balcony rooms. We stayed here as the location was great and close to our youngest child who is currently studying abroad. Upon checking in, my husband and I wanted to nap as we had traveled from the US and been awake nearly 24 hrs. Our room was on the 10th floor directly below the 11th floor bar with live DJ. We requested a room change but couldn't move until the next day. The second night (in our new room), we discovered the air conditioning wasn't working. We spoke to them the next morning and were told we simply hadn't kept the key card in the slot (even though we had). The third night there was still no AC. Finally the 4th day, the manager sent workers up (& came herself climbing on a ladder in our room to feel the vent in the ceiling). The workers admitted the hotel is undergoing new AC coils and our room hadn't been updated yet. Our children's room was plenty cool so we knew what could be expected. They offered us 2 free drink tickets at the 11th floor lounge (which we declined). We spoke to them again and told them we were disappointed in our room. They told us to email the hotel branch manager. I emailed him the day we checked out and never received a response. We travel quite a bit and have never been treated so poorly. We paid for 2 "Superior rooms with balconies" for 5 nights. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Pagamos una habitación premium view y nos colocaron en una habitación de inferior categoría sin ninguna vista, el staff muy deficiente al momento de hacer su trabajo. No deberían hacer estas cosas con los clientes, si uno paga por una habitación mejor deberían dar lo que corresponde.

Très déçu par les travaux en cours du Rooftop et de la piscine sur le toit qui étaient inaccessibles durant tout le séjour. Si nous en avions été informé, nous aurions choisi un autre établissement garantissant ce type de prestation, le W par exemple. Merci à l’avenir d’être plus vigilant sur la mise à jour du descriptif des prestations proposées par vos partenaires hôteliers.

Location, staff and breakfast were excellent. Main issue was the unbelievable noise from building work taking place right beside my room. I was moved when I asked once a room became free, but the hotel shouldn’t have that room available for booking. You expect to be able to sleep past 8am for over €200 per night.

Stayed here for one night for my partners birthday. The room we had was fantastic, spacious , clean and comfy. We were on the 10th floor with an amazing view of the city , however the view from the rooftop bar just above our room easily topped it ! The service was more than we could have asked for, I actually booked a balloon package thinking we would just get some balloons but they gave us a bottle of Prosecco , chocolates and some cake along side them. The location was also perfect , many restaurants and shops were walking distance (I recommend the steakhouse just opposite the hotel) and the hotel was also very close to public transport links. You will be asked to pay a €50 deposit on arrival however we used this to get drinks at the rooftop bar which was quite convenient in the end . Overall a fantastic stay , I would definitely come again

Excelente ubicación que hay que pagar
La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, a dos minutos andando del Paseo de Gracia o de la Plaza de Cataluña. El precio es demasiado alto para lo que se ofrece, aparte de la ubicación. La habitación es pequeña, aunque está bien amueblada y conservada, con un diseño moderno. El sofá cama para la tercera persona es muy incómodo.

Perfect location to explore the main attractions of Barcelona as just up from la Rambla Lovely Hotel, very helpful and friendly staff , always willing to help.very good breakfast options. Room and bed very comfortable. We stayed over the new year and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and the “mini break” We can definitely recommend.

Nh collection come al solito è una garanzia! Hotel stupendo, curato e pulitissimo. Il personale molto gentile. La colazione ottima. La camera spaziosa, pulita, con tutti i comfort. Posizione strategica sia per arrivare velocemente dall’aeroporto con i mezzi pubblici, sia per muoversi a piedi verso i principali punti di interesse. Tornerò sicuramente.
