Nice house and area, unproffessionel management. Can't recommend
Cleaning: basic cleaning is performed upon arrival but be advised that there are spiderwebs all over the place
Pool: the pool area is sorrounded by trees, so we spent at least ½ hour each morning and afternoon cleaning the pool. A poolman came by a couple of times he didn't clean the pool but presumeably checked the levels and inserted tablets .
Surroundings: lots of trees and bushes which means lots of bugs outside as well as inside. One of the party sat in a sofa in the downstairs area for 10 minutes when he rose he had more than 30 mosquito bites.
AC: there isn't any. There was 4 fans of which one wasn't working. That's is quite insufficent in a house of 500 sqm in the summer.
Gameroom: we couldn't get the flipper machine to work and there was no darts for the dartboard. The management said they would get back to us with information on this but they never did.
The house: its big and have lots of room for everyone. It has the 5 bedrooms as stated although during a hot summer with no ac you can't sleep in the topfloor bedroom. It's like a sauna. When the house was booked, payed for and 3 days in to when we were staying there, it was listed as having 5 bath rooms it does not. When I complained about this, the management changed the description on this website. It's still listed as having 5 baths on other websites.
Welcome: we're welcomed by the cleaning lady and her son. She was nice and talkative when she walked us through the house. All her talking was though done in Italian.
Management: worst ever experienced. According to the listing and confirmation payment was due 50% a month before arrival and 50% 2 weeks before arrival. However 6 months before arrival my credit card was debited 242 euros without any notice. When I wrote to the management their reply was that this was their company policy and they have forgotten to inform me. I let this pass as we still wanted to the house but note to management: you can't change the condition after the reservation has been confirmed.
Communication with the management worked fine until I complained about the state of the house. They never came back with info on how to make the games work in the gamesroom, they didn't take responsibility for there not being 5 baths but simply changed the description. However they did offer to send someone back to clean. The management has not responded to my last messages explaining the errors with the house even though I have sent reminders. Highly unsatisfactory
