On the island of Noirmoutier, you can go to the Passage du Gois, which has been used several times by the Tour de France, and fish for clams and cockles, walk in the oak forest bordering the Plage des Dames, enjoy the aquatic park with your family, taste the famous new potato "bonnotte" depending on the season and feast on seafood. And of course, you can relax on our beautiful sandy beaches and go for long bike rides on our many cycle paths. And if you fancy a trip to the city, Noirmoutier is 1 hour from Nantes and 3/4 from the African Safari.
