"We had a great stay at the Alma inn. We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday during the Open at Royal Birkdale. This was the perfect place for us to commute to the Open, but also pull away from the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed the views of the landscape, the breakfast as well as the terrace for a drink and dinner in the lovely summer weather. The the staff was great. They helped us out arranging breakfast earlier than normal, so we could get to the Open. Can really recommend the place, also...

"Great little hotel with a cosy bar and friendly staff. "

"I didn't realise this was on a holiday park so maybe my bad there. I was picturing country pub. Lots of noise outside. Then an alarm went off at 3am for ages. The restaurant food wasn't great for the money... But great breakfast and lovely pool."

"Spacious accommodation/friendly staff/ good food."

"Room was excellent. Breakfast first class, great selection & quality of food. Used Woodland Spa & ate in hotel restaurant as extras, very impressed with total experience"

"The farm has excellent views to the surrounding countryside, and is within walking distance of Skipton. The farmhouse was spacious and the rooms were cleaned every day. Staff members were always helpful during my say, and the breakfasts were very good."
