This listing is very inaccurate. We needed a 3-bedroom condo and this is 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom has the king bed and the other bedroom has a queen bed AND the bunk beds in the same room. There is also no balcony and that’s very deceiving because it’s at the Canoe Hotel which boasts that every single room has its own balcony. If you are handicapped or have any disabilities this room would not work as there are TWO very steep staircases (no elevator!!) just to get into the room. There was also freshly shaved pubic hair in the bathtub upon our arrival. I would never stay here again and overall this was very disappointing.

The room was very clean and had most of the necessary items that we needed. It was located at the top and back of the property toward the woods, but did not have any outdoor patio or balcony. The kitchen was well-equipped. The rooms were sparsely furnished and a bit small. Would have been helpful to have somewhere to put suitcases other than the floor. Also, extra blankets would have been welcome as well as instructions for using the HVAC for the condo. And if you don't want to be bothered by cleaning staff early (8 am), make sure to put out your private sign! All in all, it worked well for us.

This property is within a hotel, so you get the benefits of a hotel: hot tub, restaurant, front desk with bear spray you can borrow. Only drawback is that the only condiments in the kitchen are salt and pepper

Location provided easy access to the Banff shuttle. The front desk staff was very helpful. We all enjoyed the hot tub, but would have preferred a slightly cooler temperature.

Hotel Canoe - Banff

This unit is in a larger complex of Hotel Canoe. Daily housekeeping like in a hotel. Accommodations very clean and nice. Hot tub area has amazing views and plenty of room, including a fire pit. The unit we rented was listed as 3 bedrooms but it was actually 2 bedrooms with a divider - one door to the room. It worked fine but we were a bit surprised. The location is great because it is an easy walk to downtown Banff. The Roam bus shuttle is free with this booking but we didn’t use it at all, preferring to walk. Parking at the facility is easy. Laundry is available but we were surprised that there were only 2 washers and 2 dryers for the entire complex. There is a laundry business in town where you can do laundry yourself or drop off and pick up. I wish we had known about that ahead of time, as we definitely would have planned to use that service. Overall a great stay, nice property with scenic views and excellent location. Would definitely stay again.

We met some friends for a ski weekend and can’t say enough great things about our stay! From the customized coffee and tea at check in to the hottub and sauna post skiing - it was all fabulous!

Ski week in Banff

Great property, convenient to highway leading to ski areas. Still a drive or shuttle to the main town area (or 15-20m walk). Hot tubs and sauna are premium! Great staff and well appointed condo style room.
