Nice hotel
We stayed here for 6 nights before we stayed at the nearby Lotus ressort.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The starff was very friendly and cleaning good, but the hotel is worn. No safety box. The free Internet was working fine. Nice training studio.
There is not much to do but relaxing by the pool.
You can by alcohol at the bar, but it is expensive. One beer costs 25 MYR (5,20 EUR). They have happy hour on Tiger Beer from 4 to 9 pm. where you only pay 12 MYR (2,50 EUR) each, but you have to ask for it first.
If you walk north along the beach to the nearby Lotus Desaru ressort 300 m), you'll find a Retail Shop on your right hand side when you arrive from the beach. Here they sell beer and sunlotion among many other things.
The Aroi Thai Restaurant is only 200 meters away and very recommandable. Here you can choose between various small thai dishes. They costs 1,90 MYR (0,40 EUR) each and you need 3-5 to get enough. No alcohol is served here. Free Internet and clean toilets. You pay at the desk before you leave.
Snuk Thai Street BBQ is a good restaurant but expensive comparred with local restaurants in the city. Beer is available. One meal is approx. 30 MYR (6,25 EUR) and one beer 24 MYR (5 EUR).
Nelayan Seafood Restaurant is rated to be the best restaurant in the area, but it is overrated. Beers are available at only 15 MYR (3,10 EUR) each. Meals are expensive and costs approx. 30 MYR (6,25 EUR) or 60 MYR (12,50 EUR)
