"What a wonderful place. The photos do not do it justice. This is truly a treasure, and the guest rooms are in restored traditional Thai homes. Beautiful hardwoods, and appropriate decor, the whole experience takes you back in time and relaxes your mind. The riverside location is lovely, and tranquil. Food is very good too (but order Thai food for breakfast). We will be back. "

"The hotell is quite far from any public transport. You have to have private transportation. The design and enviromemt are worth to pay a visit. Dinner is a little too expensive. Overall is excellent! We are a family of 4, took the Luxe Cabinn room, it was enough big, and with a very big balkony. But there was some insects in the room, We were fine with it, if you don’t like, it is an issue. "

Downside is location. Even though we knew that it was outside Kanchanaburi we were surprised that every “taxi” ride to and from hotel was 400 baht one way or 700 return.
Sometimes paid on the room and other times to driver. That price seems too expensive compared to other places in Thailand.
