"A cozy inn with a warm, rustic atmosphere (wood burning stove) surrounded by beautiful Vermont countryside. The inn is owned and operated by a friendly family who gave us helpful advice on restaurants in the area. Breakfasts were great. Vermont maple syrup! It's a 20-minute drive from Okemo, but the drive was worthwhile. If we return to the area we will stay here again."

"The fat sheep farm is such a a cute cozy place. We partook in morning chores with Jay, she is absolutely amazing. She made everyone feel at home with interacting with the sheep. She was very knowledge and you can tell she genuinely loves the animals. Todd and Suzy are amazing as well. We breifly met Todd upon arrival, he brought us fresh eggs and scones, both were so yummy. "This is a great stop over motel. Bed was comfortable and I didn't hear any noises from other quests rooms. Not a crowded place in the summer. I went in July and the air conditioner was excellent, easy to adjust. I like white noise when I sleep and the air conditioner does make a hum and a few clicks now and then but not in the least disturbing. No clanging or rattling. Pillows comfortable. The only thing I thought a bit lacking was a table. I used the ironing board as a dining table which worked...

"Beautiful, quiet inn. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday after the holidyas, so it was especially quiet, just what we wanted. Staff was incredibly attentive and engaging, rooms were unique and comfortable. I highly recommend The Jackson. We will be returning in the spring to see the grounds!"

"Very clean accommodations and a very kind and friendly host in Lisa. Nice breakfasts prepared by Lisa in a cozy dining and living room area. We really appreciated the hot tub at the end of a day after a long hike. Great location on the ski hill. The beds themselves need to be updated as they are saggy in the middle and rather uncomfortable. "
