Overview:
This is a wonderful, warm, sunny 3rd floor apartment to make your home away from home during your stay in Baltimore. Charles Village is a safe, friendly neighborhood a few short blocks from Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus. The neighborhood is full of colorful Victorian row houses, and plenty of amenities. We'd love to host you!
The space:
This apartment is a sunny and warm 1 bdrm/1 bath on the third floor with lovely views out of north and south-facing windows. The bedroom features hardwood floors, a full-sized bed, and has an adjoining bathroom. There is also a living room space. Filled with light and color, the apartment is situated on the third floor of a converted historic Charles Village row home. The apartment works best for up to 2 guests. Utilities, high-speed Internet and wi-fi are included. All of your needs have been anticipated, but if we've missed something, we are always just a phone call away. It is our pleasure to offer a friendly welcome to visitors to our fair city.
Should you decide that you'd like to stay for a longer-term, the price for extended stays can be negotiated.

The location is walking distance from Charles Village's St. Paul St. shopping district, the year-round Waverly Farmers Market, the Baltimore Museum of Art (free entry), Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus, Johns Hopkins Shuttle, as well as, Safeway and Giant supermarkets. It is less than ten minutes by car or public bus to Penn Station, historic Mt. Vernon, the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards, and much more.
Also just one block from the free Hopkins shuttle to Penn Station, Mt. Vernon, and the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Graduate Schools in East Baltimore!
Guests have access to fenced in backyard for use in spring, summer, & fall. Also, huge basement space has a washer and dryer for free use by guests. Apartment has an HD Smart TV w cable, free wi-fi, and a small library of books and magazines for our guest's home entertainment pleasure.
Remote check in is available for your convenience. We are typically just a phone call or text away.
Charles Village is one of Baltimore's most celebrated neighborhoods. There are rows of "Painted Ladies" (colorful Victorian row houses) lining several blocks. This neighborhood is known for its great community spirit. The apartment is 4 short blocks from the Johns Hopkins U Homewood campus, and right in the middle of a wealth of amenities. The Farmer's Market, two blocks away on 32nd Street, is open Saturdays from 7a-12p, all year long! Venerable homegrown Eddie's Market and numerous local and national brand eateries are steps away. Hopkins students, professors, artists, city employees and a whole host of others make up the fabric of this historic Baltimore neighborhood.
City bus lines, Baltimore Circulator buses, and Hopkins shuttles are easily accessed from the apartment. It is a straight shot down Maryland Avenue or St. Paul St. to Mt. Vernon and downtown neighborhoods. Going west and north, Hampden, Guilford and Roland Park neighborhoods are there for you to explore. Good food, shopping and entertainment are all nearby. Quite a bit of interest is within walking distance. We encourage you to get out and get around!
