"First it is a motel, not a hotel. So it is not fancy. But honestly it would rank higher than a number of hotels in the same $100 per night price range. Room looked fairly modern and was very very clean. It had a fridge and a microwave and a TV with a large number of channels. Fast internet. They provided a nice welcome book with information about the area. Checking and check out were easy. Plenty of towels and soaps and shampoos in the room. Cannot say a bad thing about it. "My wife and I came for a visit on the Amtrak train to the town of Hinton West Virginia. Stephinie was a very helpful point of contact. The property was beautiful. The Allmans were very helpful and generous. We loved Hinton WV. Everything we did was within walking distance of the train station. We are already planning our next visit."

"Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! We were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. "

"Beautiful area, the hotel does a great job of making it peaceful and reflective of the surroundings even though it is very close to the interstate and the accompanying commerce. Nice touch the picnic table on the side -and the window in the breakfast room that was open in the AM looking out at it. Nice but not necessary additions? Free weights in the exercise room. Hand held shower nozzle. "

"A great place to visit to get out in nature. Really enjoy hiking all of the trails, although some of them are overgrown and not clearly marked (but it adds to the vibe and the maps on AllTrails are spot on). Rooms in the main lodge are spacious albeit a little old. But clean and comfy. Overall a great place for a weekend getaway with the kids. "

"Nice and cosy cabin for a short stay. This was a nice place to stay amongst the RV’s. Restroom and shower was downstairs and could be used by everyone in the resort. But the room was nice and clean. But be aware that you can hear the people next door very easily. Kept me awake until 2AM. And remember towels if you stay in a cabin. Did a nice little hike to the falls. 1 hour walk there and back."

"Just a wierd situation. More rooms at this location are for temporary permanent residents than are available for over night stays. Those folks were outside socializing and making noise til well after midnight. Children were out running and screaming playing tag and hide & seek til close to midnight. At check in the lady did not speak english. She dialed up some guy who walked me through hiw to check in using all these machines set out on the desk and then he talked to the woman in Hindu giving...
