"Clean, nice, just the basics but that's all you need. It was completely quiet. Wi-fi worked fine. We stayed because of an event in Madison. The drive was 25 minutes to the hotel, about how long it would have taken to get to Madison's east side. There were a couple of "hooker hotels" with rooms available closer than this hotel, but we were dissuaded from them and I am so happy. We'll stay again when we come to Madison for the same event."

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I’m a healthcare traveler and work nights. Most hotels do not allow for or charge large sums for a late checkout to give “night shift” staff the opportunity to get a decent nights “days” sleep. The staff jere were very accommodating, with it being “off season”, to allow for a slightly later checkout and it was very much appreciated. I will definitely be going back if the need arises during my time in the Baraboo/Dells area. To the staff - thanks so...

"Employees were very friendly and the pizza was very good, but the best was the activities. Tons of free activities that were well planned and staffed - dance, singing, scavenger hunt, bingo, crafts ... AND playing in Magic Quest for hours, even after finding all the "wand" spots."

"The property is undergoing renovations at the moment, so it's not surprising that it's not as tidy as other hotels. However, that didn't present any issues as it was very quiet during the evening and night time, the staff was very pleasant, and the rest of the property was clean/tidy. The breakfast was the normal continental breakfast... pancakes, eggs, sausage, English muffins, bread, cupcakes, cereal, apples and oranges, and yogurt. I unfortunately can't eat 95% of that due to dietary...

"Our room was a generous size. There was even a table and chairs (in addition to king bed, two nightstands, recliner & long dresser) so we could eat comfortably and play a card game too. The decor reminded me of spending the night at my grandparents’ house. It’s certainly not the latest and greatest, but has a welcoming feel! :)"
