"This was an amazing stay and such an ideal location. Hikers hideout was no joke! It was ideally located for all of our hiking needs. We had a short 10 minute drive to Hawksbill for Sunrise and a day of hiking. Also located very close to Upper Creek Falls and Brown Mountain overlook on Blue Ridge Parkway. "The cabin worked out perfectly for us. Loved the central location to both Sugar Mountain (for skiing) and Boone (for the great food). It’s also extremely close to a Dollar General in case you forget anything. Wish I would’ve paid attention in the listing that one room had a full size bed (the other has a queen), but we made it work for our family of four.
