"We had a warm welcome from the moment we arrived , with clear instructions prior to arrival as well. The breakfast as mentioned in previous reviews was the best that we have had in Costa Rica and likewise we were treated to a wonderful home cooked three course meal at a very reasonable price. We loved the peaceful surroundings with nature on the doorstep including trails into the forest. We loved our stay and just wish we had planned to stay longer."

"La Quinta is a very welcoming place. The staff is fantastic: very responsive and capable in every respect. I have to make special mention of Diego, who greeted me warmly when I arrived and helped me finalize arrangements to visit two local nature preserves. Diego is enthusiastic and exceptionally competent. I also want to tip my hat to Leonardo, the chef. He make a lamb dish one night that was out of this world. "It was in middle of jungle, did night and bird watching around lodge and we saw many animals. Very happy we found this gem. Rooms are basic and breakfast wss great."

"Great room with a lovely view from the balcony, quiet, comfortable bed, staff were lovely and very helpful. Pool area was nice and restaurant food was good. Lots of local wildlife can be seen on the site (howler monkeys, macaws, toucans)."

"Vi bodde 2 dar i hus ( cottage) med altan intill liten sjö och en natt i trädkoja. Båda jättefina! Många djur, fin pool, trevlig personal, god mat. Vi deltog i en utflykt med båt till Nicaraguas gräns. Bra guidning, såg bland annat krokodiler och apor. Stället kan verkligen rekommendwras!"
