Three bedroom, 2 full bathroom home that can sleep up to 6 people. Breathtaking view of the pacific ocean over the beautiful outdoor patio and infinity edge pool. Accommodating kitchen and sitting area with a smart television. Comes equipt with all the towels, linens, beach towels and chairs, and kitchen essentials. The home sits above the small town of Dominicalito and is only 10 minutes to the beach. This is a perfect location for people wanting to vacation in the jungle but be close enough to relax on the beach or surf daily. There is also a large grocery store nearby. A 4x4 vehicle is required to access the property.

Super lækker bolig med fantastisk udsigt.

Som familien var boligen en dejlig base for 10 dage ved stillehavskysten. Der er fuld valuta for pengene. Det er en velfungerende bolig med det der behøves for at nyde ferien. Måske et par ekstra skærebrætte vil være dejligt. Bagatel. Bedst af alt var udsigten. Fantastisk. Vi nød solnedgangene og det rige dyreliv omkring huset. Poolen er fin. Husk at det kræver en firehjulstrækker at komme frem til boligen. Det er stejlt og for familien var det en udfordring hver gang vi skulle op til huset. Der blev bidt mange negle når bilen begyndte at skride baglæns på grund af manglende bid i underlaget. Jeg synes nu bare det var en ekstra udfordring. Og fik lært at udnytte bilens firhjulstræk. Vil klart anbefale stedet. God service er også med. Adam sørgede for at alt klapppede. Bare se at komme afsted. Costa Rica er bare fantastisk.

This was our second stay at this home and it just keeps getting better. The owners have added a a second master suite since our last visit and it is phenomenal. Our family absolutely loves staying here and making memories. The sounds of the jungle along with the view make this place amazing. The house is equipped with everything and the pictures dont do it justice. The location is perfect for us as we like the close proximity to both Uvita and Quepos. There is a small waterfall with a rope swing that is free to visit near the entrance to the gated community the home is in. We love this place and plan on staying here again next time we visit Costa Rica.

Nestled along the stunning Pacific Coast, our stay in this beautiful home was nothing short of magical. With breathtaking views of the ocean and majestic mountains, every moment felt like a postcard come to life. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The setting is amazing. Communication was prompt and helpful. Unfortunately the description leaves out important information about the nature of the road leading up to the house and we did not feel we could come and go from this house safely.After the highway, you’re on a fairly steep dirt road. The road is in good condition and we drove almost all the way to the house without issue. The final stretch is so steep, though, that you have to get a head start going up a portion of the road that curves around to the right. To quote the directions provided by the host: “Turn right on the road immediately past the concrete driveway. Please note that this is a steep incline so it is best to maintain a bit of speed when turning up.”We live in Denver, CO and are familiar with dirt road driving to trailheads and cabins in the mountains. This was another level. We had a 4x4, as suggested in the listing and we successfully made it up to the house. But based on the listing description, we were not expecting a white-knuckle experience coming and going from the house. We requested a refund and made arrangements for other accommodations. Again, the house is beautiful and the setting is unbelievable. If you are comfortable navigating this sort of terrain, then this is 1000% the place for you. If you are looking for a place that’s easy to access between day trips, then there are many much better options.

The house was amazing! The view is unbeatable. The road up is steep in sections but manageable even in the rain as long as you have a 4x4. The house has everything you need and things you didn't even know you needed! The location is perfect-10 mins from restaurants and grocery stores. We saw monkeys and all kinds of birds! Seriously can't say enough good things about this house!

Stunning Views, But Unsafe and Poorly Managed Experience

The house and its views were undeniably beautiful—but unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The property is extremely difficult to find after 5 PM, and nearly impossible in the rain. We lost power during our stay (in sweltering heat and humidity), with no access to data, internet, or even a functioning exit gate. Trees had fallen and blocked the only road down the mountain, and to make matters worse, there was no generator on the property.Despite repeated attempts to contact Adam—the host—on multiple platforms, we received no response until VRBO got involved. Strangely, he had been responsive before the trip, which made the radio silence even more disheartening. In fact, a kind neighbor was more helpful than the host when we told him we had no food, water, or power and needed help getting down the mountain.The water also had a strong iron smell, particularly in the bathrooms. This contrasted with what was written in the host’s binder, which stated he would reach out if power was out for more than a few days. He did not.Once VRBO intervened, the host offered to send a taxi with food and supplies—but by then, the situation had become unsafe and unacceptable. We requested a full refund due to the complete lack of communication, preparedness, and safety measures. Thankfully, VRBO agreed and refunded us in full after multiple failed attempts to contact the host.What’s most surprising is how this property has five-star reviews, which is why I booked it in the fir

Awesome Adventure near Dominical

Exactly the experience we wanted, gnarly road to reach the property, absolutely need a 4x4 vehicle with clearance. Having mild off roading experience helps as the road to get to the house becomes insanely steep ant times. Amazing views and very cool house and infinity pool. Howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, toucans, and almost all other wildlife were on the road to the house. Off the beaten path feel everywhere, an optional river crossing to access the property was fun to cross. Definitely recommend this casita to anyone looking for seclusion wanting to avoid a resort-style trip. Use Waze to navigate to property, apple maps doesn’t work and google maps doesn’t always know the most up to date route. Make sure you understand how to navigate to the property before leaving! Outdoor shower was awesome, AC helps dry out wet clothes, rains every single afternoon in May! If you want an actual adventure speaking Spanish to locals and almost complete immersion into CR’s culture, stay at this place! We already know we’ll be back.

What an amazing place!

This was by far the best rental experience I’ve ever had. The home was CLEAN and stocked with a handful of essentials that really made the stay easy. Like coffee, basic spices, Tupperware, plenty of towels, binoculars, bug spray, sunscreen and games! It was very well maintained from the crisp clean pool to the gorgeous gardening around it. We arrived at night and the solar lights along the path were VERY helpful! The one negative is the power outages. Every evening we’d lose power for at least a few hours, and once for about 18hrs. But it really didn’t impact our stay that much. The road is a bit treacherous as others have mentioned. But you get there just fine in a 4wd vehicle. We saw so many birds from the patio! And howler monkeys! What a magical experience.

We had a great stay at the house. Everything we needed and didn’t know we needed (like beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas & cooler)! Loved the view and seeing the birds land in the nearby trees. Woke up to Howler Monkeys almost every morning howling in the hills. We had a cheap rented 4x4 and definitely had some rocks scrape the bottom, the road is unpaved and steep but was an adventure in itself! Would stay here again!!

Beautiful property with spectacular views

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is finished to a very high standard with everything you need. It was extremely clean and well looked after. The pool is small but perfect. The road up requires a 4x4 and there are a couple of good hills and bends in the mostly gravel road. We’re not used to driving on these type of roads but found them no problem at all. Dominical is just a short 15 minute drive, where you can find some good local restaurants and bars. The best part of this property though has to be the most spectacular views of rain forest and coast. There are some wonderful birds to be seen from the property and you can watch the sun set from the terrace and the pool. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Perfect stay

My boyfriend and I stayed during our trip to Costa Rica and we cannot say enough about this stay. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the views are spectacular. We couldn't have asked for better. The mountain roads are definitely tough to navigate and 4x4 vehicle is most definitely needed. We somehow found the place after dark. Adam was very helpful and always very responsive. I would highly recommend staying! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic house with breath taking views

Yes you need four wheel drive vehicle :)Very comfortable house with absolutely fatastic views. Kitchen was well appointed and beds were very comfortable. Probably the thing that makes the house so unique was the patio with small infinity pool where we basically spent 90% of our time, watching birds, listening to holler monkeys, relaxing in the pool and enjoying beautiful sunsets every evening. The property is in a great location with plenty of things to do within a short drive.

Amazing views in Dominicalito

This house is beautiful and the views are even better - Exactly as pictured!! We enjoyed the outdoor dining area and infinity pool daily. You definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the house. But Adam gave great directions and was very responsive. We would come back in a heart beat!

We LOVED the Blue House!

What’s not to love? The photos don’t do it justice honestly. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms gave our family lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed the pool right outside the living room. Large windows and patios provided views from almost every room. Toucans flew overhead one day! Woke up to the sound of Howler monkeys every day. Truly magnificent views and WOW the sunsets! A few small power outages which is typical for the area and no big deal. The drive up is an adventure but do-able in our 4x4 Tucson as long as you maintain some speed. Plan for 10-15 minutes drive down the mountain for stores and shops. Honestly no restaurant has better views than the Blue House so we ate here every night! Would love to return!

Amazing property with spectacular views

My family and I had such an amazing time! All of my kids, from 18 months old to 18-years-old, enjoyed the pool every night after a busy day of activities. The property is located very close to beautiful beaches and waterfalls. The sunsets are the most beautiful we’ve ever seen so it was worth being home before dark every night. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed having an outdoor grill and dining area for dinner in the evening. Prompt and thorough communication. Highly recommend!

Paradise Found!

This VRBO exceeded all expectations! The property's beauty was even more stunning in person than in the photos. The house was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay (including coffee!). The location was perfect for exploring the incredible beaches and natural wonders of the Dominical and Uvita areas.While the final stretch of road to the property requires 4WD (and they're not kidding!), the reward is well worth it. The seclusion and privacy were exactly what we were looking for. Every morning and evening, we were treated to the sounds of howler monkeys and a symphony of birdsong from our balcony (download the Merlin app for help identifying all the birds!). We even had a troop of capuchin monkeys visit, and spotted several sloths (including a baby!) nearby – a truly unforgettable experience!The kitchen had most essentials, though you might want to bring your own cooking oil and spices. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like beach towels, chairs, binoculars, and flashlights. The gated community provided a sense of security, and despite a few neighboring houses, we felt completely immersed in nature.Just a heads-up: the drive to town takes about 10-15 minutes, so plan your trips accordingly. Also, that first drive up the hill can be a bit daunting, but you'll quickly get the hang of it.Overall, this VRBO is an absolute gem! We highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Breathtaking views - Little slice of Heaven

We stayed here for our honeymoon and we booked because of the stunning views from the infinity pool and all of the amazing reviews that this hidden little gem had. I can honestly say that 10 out of 10 is no exaggeration. It was so peaceful and beautiful and gave us the best of both worlds. I wanted an ocean view, my husband wanted a jungle view….we got both. I almost didn’t want to leave the property that is how much I enjoyed staying here. I will agree with everyone else when they say that a 4 wheel drive is needed. It was night when we got in and that drive up was a bit scary the first time, but a couple days in and we actually enjoyed the drive. There was a beautiful waterfall down the hill that we stopped at. Adam was so responsive and he had a great book of recommended restaurants and things to do that we found super helpful. The sunsets at night were absolutely breathtaking.The pool guy came by a couple of days and he was so nice too, we enjoyed visiting with him and he also gave us a couple of restaurant recommendations. I didn’t want to leave - this really was a slice of heaven. The house is beautiful and they take great care of it. We did have a few visitors (animal, birds, etc.) while we were there, and we loved it. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet, romantic get away. We truly felt like we were the only ones on that mountain side - so peaceful.

Unreal View and house!!

From start to finish, this property did not disappoint! Unbelievable sunsets, monkeys, butterflies, birds and so much more! The outdoor shower is top notch! The property manager Adam was right there to help when we arrived! Thank you for an unforgettable experience! House with a view.

Beautiful place. The quality of the house is exceptional. The view is stunning and we had lots of bird sightings sitting on the porch. Really appreciated the basic spices, coffee already there. Would highly recommend as long as you have 4x4 vehicle.
