"I read a number of reviews before booking a standard room. It was simple but fully lived up to my expectations and I had a wonderful stay. It is a well kept haveli just a stone throw from Lake Pichola and the city palace. You don't get a better location. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends."

"Hotellet er drevet af en fransk-indisk familie. Alle er flinke og hjælpsomme. Der er ingen udsigt fra værelserne, men udsigten fra restauranten, og specielt tagterrassen, er SUPER! En solnedgang på tagterrassen bliver siddende i hukommelsen resten af livet! Værelserne er store, luftige og rene. Der er WiFi på værelserne osv. men den er, som det vist er tilfældet de fleste steder, ikke helt stabil og hurtig. Morgenmaden er omfattende og god! Hotellet er et af de bedste valg i Udaipur til prisen!"

"Location is fabulous right on lake. The entire staff was wonderful. Warm, friendly, helpful. Restaurant was good. We had a balcony over looking the lake. The room was large with many small touches. Huge shower. Windows that opened to lake with built in benches to just enjoy. We could have stayed there all day. We will be back!"

The only drawback was that there was no power backup here in case of loss if electricity which can happen sometimes otherwise everything was fantastic and the service compensated for that."

"Great location. Most sights within walking distance. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and made you feel at home as soon as you walked through the door. Rajiv was exceptional in the level of service he offered. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The restaurant was excellent and provided great views of the city and City Palace. The room is basic but has everything you need. There is a fair amount of noise in the area. Would highly recommend."
