"This place was very tastefully renovated and decorated and even has a pool with plenty of lounge chairs. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and modern, and the breakfast was amazing with so many choices of both sweet and savory options. Filippo made a great cappuccino every morning and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Although it felt private, there were restaurants, bars, bakeries, and public transportation within walking distance. Truly a hidden gem!"

"The description doesn't match the reality. The place is run-down. The road is nearby, and the room is very noisy. Despite the stated private bathroom, there's only one for all rooms. The owner takes a deposit and then makes up excuses to pay as little as possible (flexible arrival, linen fee, etc.), and despite an initially favorable offer, it ends up being quite a hefty sum. The photos show a beautiful, clean house. In reality, it's old, neglected, and cluttered. I don't recommend it. Avoid."

"Such a lovely Villa! True Tuscan experience. The hosts are so helpful and friendly. They arranged transfer and bike rent for us so we could bike to vineyards and Lucca. Very nice bike ride along the lake to Lucca - about 4 km - 10 min. No hills. Enjoyed relaxing at the pool after a long day out. Beautiful boutique rooms, respectfully renovated. Highly recommendable!"
