"A worn-down hotel on the shore of the Belize River. Room was OK, but not completely clean. We got spotty sheets with holes.
The pools were filled with leaves, and we didn't see anyone use them at any point.
Construction workers were fixing up the place, but they started cutting rocks at 7 am, which meant no more sleep for us.
Not an enjoyable stay."

The rooms were stunning, and the bathrooms were especially impressive elegant and thoughtfully stocked, even including a shower cap, which was such a nice detail. The body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower made everything feel simple and convenient.
The staff truly stood out every single person I interacted with was friendly, courteous, and genuinely eager to make our stay great. Their hospitality made a lasting impression.

Only minor issue were some glass shards that house keeping had overlooked - it was taken care of promptly when we pointed it out. Water pressure on the third floor is not impressive and the beds are memory foam, which is a matter of preference. A/C was super efficient and the selection in the minibar very good. Limited choice of restaurants nearby, but for a stay...
"Villa Boscardi is in a quite part of Belize city, very close to the sea promenade. We were overall happy with our stay, despite a somewhat messy check in experience, and can recommend it for a one night stay in Belize city when arriving in or leaving the country"
"The staff was wonderful, they arranged transfers from Water Taxi to hotel and staff pickup us up and took us across the river on a boat. I believe we were the only 2 on site as it was off season she still made us bkft the next day. Oh she also arranged dinner bring brought to us. Jus make sure you take you mosquito spray."
"One South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. They provided transportaion from the airport and the ferry. The pool was amazing, the food was amazing, the staff was amazing and on top of it all. Communcation was very easy. "This place was next to everywhere we wanted to be!! The staff was amazing !! Pablo made sure everything we needed we had. The rooms were not too much island vibes all the way. VERY COMFORTABLE SPACE. Only negative I could see was the bed had a dip in it in the middle but my man loved it .. smh. This was the get away we needed and they absolutely made it happen. "Our stay at Jovilee Hotel was exactly what we needed. The hotel is nice, safe and clean and has self parking on site. There is no restaurant in this hotel but there is an excellent chinese restaurant across the street and they deliver to your hotel room. The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We recommend the Jovilee Hotel and will stay there again when we return to Belice."

It's in walking distance to the ferry for caye caulker and San Pedro. They had a community refrigerator and microwave in kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful.
