"Terrible property - due to stay here for 5 nights but posed such a health risk that we left immediately and checked in elsewhere at great expense. Sacks of rubbish left, outdoor dining area unusable, dangerous shower, bedroom fans covered in thick dust and mould. Is not as described - is a mid terraced property, not semi-detached as the pictures suggest. Neighbours garden full of trade waste and arguing with each other so would have been unpleasant to sit outside. Undesirable area. Do not stay...

"The cottage was perfect for my friend and I. The added bonus with the beach hut made it even more special! The cottage was well equipped, the beds comfortable and location was excellent. Check-in was easy and the owner always on hand to answer any questions.I would definitely stay here again and look forward to further visits! Excellent!"

"Wir waren mit 5 Personen 9 Tage im Haus und fanden es sehr gemütlich dort. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht (außer einem Föhn). Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Lediglich im Wohnzimmer hat uns ein Sitzplatz gefehlt, die Sofas sind für 2 Leute in Ordnung, aber für 3 zu klein. Insgesamt war es im Haus schön."

"This a sizeable property and well placed for easy access to Beach, Town and shops. It has 5 bedrooms including a downstairs bedroom and en-suite. Some updating needed of facilities which has been fed back. However, this was a great success as it’s very hard to find suitable accommodation for people with mobility issues and I was staying with my parents who are 88 & 89 respectively. "We knew garden was "staggered" but its not atttached to house. You have to go down a path that runs along the back of the houses to go your garden gate. Garden was lovely with a table and 4 chairs and flower borders. Location is brillant litterally a 2 min walk to The Byes which are picturesque. Sidmouth is a 10 minute walk.There is a Tesco Express about a 10 minute walk and a Waitrose is about a 10 kinute drive.As its a victorain house stairs can be awkward for some. "This is a brilliant property for a family get together. We stayed with our 2 adult children, their partners and 4 grandchildren. There was plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen was well equipped for a large family gathering. The bedrooms are all en-suite will good bathrooms, of a generous size and the beds are very comfortable with crisp white linen and lovely indulgent pillows. "Lovely chalet and facilities. Only 2 problems noted. The grass around the chalet needed cutting. We reported a fault with the toilet continuously the house keeper’s husband came out but was unable to fix it. We had to switch of the water to the boiler on the night time as it disturbed our sleep. besides these 2 issues our stay was very enjoyable and would definitely stay there again. "
