"The hotel was beautiful, the pool was great to relax by enjoy the sauna and cold plunge. The beach is a short walk down the stairs and is a pretty quiet beach, it does have a lot of rocks tho. The amenities being able to rent a bike, beach chairs and board were a lot of fun. There was lots of good restaurants a short bike ride away. The staff was all very friendly and helpful."

"Great restaurant, nice size gym, spa is awesome. Also, the hotel has great views and walking trail nearby. Overall, great hotel! Only downfall, walls aren’t sound proof, but thankfully no loud neighbors past 10pm."

"I stayed for two days and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The cafe employee was rude, which made us feel unwelcome. Housekeeping was also lacking, our towels and water were never replaced during our stay. Overall, the service did not meet expectations, and I hope management improves customer service and guest care. "

"One of the best features about this property is LOCATION, as it’s situated in South Carlsbad right off I-5, has an attractive swimming pool, and a great breakfast with hot food and two of those swanky Costa coffee machines. "The front staff was amazing. He did accommodate me for a new room. However, the room itself was horrible. There were stains on the wall stains on the sheets. It smelled of cigarette and animal pee the towels had hair inside them. The toilet water ran continuously all night there was no AC and I could not sleep worried about bedbugs."

"You can feel doors closing from other rooms while you are in your room and it shakes the room, walls are thin. Room overall was clean beds were ok and pool was clean. Breakfast was overall good, but everything wasn’t getting stocked and when we asked the staff they scoffed on the first morning there but there was no coffee at all, no cereal no milk. If these things don’t bother you I would say the room itself was good, and that’s what you get for a budget hotel."

"The location is pretty handy to Legoland and San Diego, the bed is big and comfy but the bathroom was a little grubby."

"I spent 4 nights at The Inn at Moonlight Beach and I was still not ready to leave! Every morning I took a nice long stroll down Moonlight beach, and stopped off for coffee at Lofty. A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice.
