The Space:

You step onto the private patio and feel the city’s rhythm settle around you—soft morning light filters through the shades, the distant hum of Austin’s streets blends with the quiet of a fenced backyard. After a day of exploring South Lamar, you sink into the sofa, the flat‑screen TV flickering low as the evening cools and the neighborhood lights glow. The space invites you to unwind at your own pace, whether you’re sipping coffee at the kitchen island or setting up for a focused work session in the enclosed workspace.



Sleeping arrangements

Two bedrooms each hold a queen‑size bed, dressed with fresh linens for restful nights. A queen‑size sofa sleeper in the living area adds a third bed, bringing the total capacity to six guests. Ample storage keeps belongings organized, and the dedicated workspace in one bedroom offers a quiet door‑closed nook for remote work.



Bathrooms

Two full bathrooms feature a bathtub or shower and are stocked with bathroom essentials, so you can refresh without missing a beat.

The Neighborhood:

The South Lamar area is near SoCo (South Congress), downtown, and many of the best green areas in Austin (Zilker & Barton Creek Greenbelt). Strolling on South Lamar you'll find many cheap eateries, cool thrift stores, and Austin classic dive bars.



Staying in this place will show you that you are super close to everything without being in the hectic Downtown Austin area. You are a short Uber/Lyft away from a time of your life without having the extra noise to keep you awake at night.



Getting Around:

This home is tucked nicely away but close to downtown, making it an ideal location if you are coming for a major business event or concert, like ACL, F1 or SXSW.

Heath, the safety and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we use a thorough and extensive process of cleaning after each check-out.

We are pet-friendly but do require a pet fee. It's in our house rules down below.



This is on the first floor and does not require stairs.



This complex itself is a bit older and may show its age. However, we do our best to keep everything clean and fresh.



Please be aware the unit is in the state of Texas there may be pests like roaches, ants, or other bugs. We hire professional pest control to take care of this.



We make sure to provide the basic amenities you need as you book our place (e.g. hand soap, toilet paper) but further supplies especially for long-stay bookings need to be purchased on your own.



Just like at a hotel, we kindly ask you to complete our quick verification process in order to receive your check-in details. This will ask you to provide your ID and lodge a safety deposit. Once this is done, we’ll send you your check-in details.



There's a security camera pointing at the door entrance, as well as a noise detector inside the property.
