Boasting a sophisticated interior, a private balcony with an outdoor lounge, and expansive water views from inside and out, lakefront dreams come true at this three-bed/two-bath retreat. This condo is part of The Island on Lake Travis - a luxe gated community on a 14-acre island in Lago Vista. Enjoy excellent on-site amenities including indoor/outdoor pools, tennis courts, and a fitness center.

A contemporary sofa, loveseat, and two armchairs set the scene for relaxation in the stylish living area. Fix a drink at the wet bar and take in the gorgeous lake views. In the evening, settle in to stream your favorite shows on the 64-inch smart TV. Let your culinary skills shine in the pristine kitchen, equipped with granite countertops and a full suite of appliances and helpful gadgets. While dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar with seating for three. When it’s time to eat, gather around the formal dining table with expandable seating options and stunning lake views.

This condo sleeps eight guests in three bedrooms. Find supreme comfort in the primary suite, complete with a king bed, desk, and a private lake-view deck furnished with a daybed lounger. The spacious en-suite bathroom comes with a walk-in closet as well as a double vanity, jetted soaking tub, and walk-in shower. The second bedroom is furnished with two twin daybeds, both outfitted with a twin trundle. Sleep soundly in a queen bed in the third bedroom. The guest bathroom is configured with a large vanity and walk-in shower.

Take in the dazzling lake views from the covered balcony, featuring ceiling fans and a cushioned lounge area with two love seats and two armchairs.

We had a geat family holiday! The condo was amazing! Very nicely decorated and Beautiful view from the balcony. There is an indoor pool on the property that my kids really enjoyed. The property is also within driving distance to some really nice hiking trails and some good restaurants. The host was had good communication during the trip, was responsive, and polite. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getway

We brought our two kids/young adults 16 and 18 and two of their friends. They had so much fun! This place has everything you can ask for. All the amenities were great! The condo was awesome. I saw reviews about the AC being an issue they have added units to help. The only room that stayed warm was the one room which could probably use a small unit but my girls didn’t complain. This was a beautiful condo with beautiful views. Definitely will be back.

HVAC system needs upgraded

The unit is very nice. Good view. Had to leave two days early because of no heat. No really nice restaurants close. Three portable A/C units and a window A/C ran almost continuously, and the outside temperature was only 82. When a cold snap occurred there was no heat. Complex is on a closed loop system for heating and cooling, obviously doesn’t work well.

Lovely property but with some cons

We had booked this property for a girls get away weekend in mid June. First off the property was beautiful and spacious to comfortably accommodate 5-6. The cons to this property is the a/c situation. During the day inside the bedrooms and kitchen get really hot. The temperature in the master bedroom was 80F even though there was a small portable a/c in there and the central air was on but didn’t properly cool the property. At night, the temperature was able to get cooler to 74 F but we had to get a box fan out from the closet to cool ourselves. We would have not been able to stay there with out the box fan on. In the living room, the a/c central air and portable a/c did adequately cool just the living room at 74 F but all other areas were hot. In the kitchen there was no coffee, sugar, & creamer. There is a coffee machine. This is the first vrbo i been to that đid not have these items. Even motels and hotels have these basics. The condo have two assigned garage parking space even though the property management said there was only one. There seems to be a disconnect between the vrbo property management company because they did not provide the correct gate code in the email. You will get a text message morning of check in the correct gate code. For cleanliness, the condo was clean except the curtains were dusty and there was Cobb webs in the ceiling. The most annoying thing is the key pad to unlock the property did not work and how to unlock/lock property was a nightmare.

Beautiful

This property is in a beautiful setting on Lake Travis. The accommodations are quite clean and comfortable. The hosts have gone above and beyond by providing plenty of utensils and necessary supplies to make our stay so wonderful. The unit is spacious and decorating is fabulous. The property manager does a great job communicating and making sure we are taken care of with resources available on property (fitness center, pool area, parking, etc). I give it 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful Place, Responsive Owners

The home was immaculate when we arrived, we had no issues getting in, and everything was just as beautiful as in the photos. The few times I texted ownership for information I got a response within a few minutes. We had an excellent trip and stay for Spring Break and our daughter's birthday.

Beautiful condo, as described

Condo had everything we needed. Check in didn’t go quite as planned. The code to the gate and door didn’t work, but property management company was very responsive. We had ants in the living room and kitchen which got addressed the next day. The water went out for half the day during lunch which was very frustrating, resulting from a busted pipe in the building. The condo is warm as previously described but the extra coolers in the condo do help keep it cool in the bedrooms. There is a spa on the property which was a pleasant surprise. The gym on the property is also close and well equipped.

Lago Vista

It’s a beautiful condo. We stay at The Island every year and this is the first 3 bedroom we’ve ever rented. The weather for Texas is extremely hot this summer, so we appreciated the window units and the portable air conditioning. Beautiful condo, the maid was late leaving. She didn’t leave until 5:30, but the leasing company made up for it!

Great place, not ideal for hot weather

The property was very clean, and had a great view. The beds were very comfortable. If you don’t like warm indoor temps, I wouldn’t recommend. The A/C in the apartment would not get the house below 78 degrees. Made for some hot sleeping. If they had a working A/C I would recommend to anyone.

Perfect Getaway Weekend

This was a quick 30 minute drive from my daughters house in Austin. I rented the condo while I was visiting from North Carolina. We were able to enjoy a wonderful weekend there with she, her husband, and 4 kids. They loved the 3 different pools, and we loved this spacious condo with awesome views.

This is a place I would definitely call home. The condo is so luxurious and the decor is impeccable. The island is serene and their deer friends are the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely lovely place, horrible customer support

This is a gorgeous condo in a gated community on Lake Travis. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for longer stays for a large family or friends. The gated community is also very nice with a great gym, beautiful pool area and an on site restaurant. The outdoor pool was freezing since it's not heated, but maybe in the summertime this isn't an issue? We had two issues that I think are important to mention: 1. After check-in, we were informed that the A/C could only be turned down to 78 degrees and we should use the portable A/C unit (very loud and heavy) if needed. I honestly don't know how this all works in the summertime (we were there in December with temperatures in the 80's, but it still felt kinda hot in the apartment). 2. After booking the non-refundable deal on vrbo, I was contacted by Turnkey who manages the place telling me I should "complete my booking". This was not possible through the online instructions they gave and I had to call them a total of 5 times for over 75 minutes (!!!) to sort this all out, while they kept sending me threatening emails that they would cancel my (already fully paid) booking. When they finally did sort it all out and I completed my booking on their system, they made me sign a rental's agreement. This includes the renter consenting to the ID check and the fact that if the renter does not comply, they can cancell the booking. So they actually enforce a term before the affected party is made aware of said term. Given that there is no info on the vrbo listing that there are further conditions the customer needs to meet after paying in order to complete the reservation, this is more than problematic. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but would choose another condo managed by someone else.

Perfect!

Beautiful place! We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was just as the pictures showed. The extra touches such as the bird seed for birds and corn to feed all the deer out on the property were so thoughtful. Definitely want to make another trip back!

Lovely Lake Escape

My family really enjoyed the Lake Haus. It is a lovely 3-bedroom condo, complete with everything you need for a lake getaway. Instructions were clear. The unit was clean. The furnishing was really nice. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

Perfect get away

We spent most of our time on the lake but the property was perfect in every way. The wall socket for the TV didn’t work. We checked the breakers and the GFI’s and all seemed fine. This was are only issue but we didn’t care cause after the long days on the water we just ate dinner and went to bed. Overall, we really enjoyed the property

Rejuvenating stay at Lago Vista

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Turn key provided excellent detailed instructions on how to reach and enter the property. We had no problems at all. The home itself is absolutely stunning. Gorgeous views of the lake and beautifully decorated. There are so many little touches that make it perfect, including the birdfeeders on the two windows in the dining area so we could watch all the small birds eat as we did, and the corn that we hand fed the deer with. What an amazing experience. The unit is very spacious and was able to very comfortably accommodate my 12-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son as well as my husband and I. We could have also invited another guest since there were two beds in one of the bedrooms. Food options nearby are a bit limited, so definitely pre-planned what you’d like to eat for dinner if you are going to be eating at the condo. The building facilities are well-maintained and we made use of the indoor pool a couple of nights. Remember to bring your own tennis rackets and balls to make use of the tennis courts. The sunset views were to die for. We had a very much needed and rejuvenating stay at Lago Vista. Thank you!

Perfect girls' trip!

We loved this home for our girls' trip! The setting was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. We loved taking day trips to downtown Austin and Fredericksburg. We went to dinner at The Oasis on Lake Travis and it was awesome!

Not what we expected. At. All.

We arrived at the "Luxury Lakeside Retreat" to see a beautiful estate. There was no one to direct us about parking or finding the unit. The unit was pretty but the heat nor air worked. We called for help and received messages that someone was on the way. After supper, I received a call telling me how to turn the unit off and on repeatedly to get it to work. Finally, after another day, we got the heat working. Then the weather warmed and the air didn't work. We never got that working. The on-site restaurant advertised wasn't open. The inside pool was cold and only exercise was allowed. No playing. The hot tub was empty. The grill was a community grill that was filthy and I wouldn't dream of using it. THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO. We did bring kayaks (thankfully). It takes at least 45 minutes to go to the small local grocery and return. I asked for a partial refund and was refused. Beautiful if you want to sit and look. Otherwise, beware. We were VERY disappointed. We went to CVS, bought chairs, sat on the concrete boat ramp amongst the dirt and rocks and our grandchildren learned how to skip rocks on the water. Oh, and read the fine print. Those beautiful fireplaces aren't allowed to be used.
