"My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. "I’ve stayed here previously, always appreciate the warm welcome from staff, explained everything thoroughly….very comfortable room, slept well!
There is live music and there were a lot of people having a great time, finished at a reasonable time so no worries here.
The only thing I would suggest that needs attention is the shower curtain, it created a musty smell in the bathroom.
I’ll hopefully be back next year. "

"Brilliant stay in the heart of the town. Very modern, provides basic necessities such as shower gels and tea and coffees. The pub is just downstairs so any issues you can report to them. Keyless entry to the hotel and your room, very good value for money. "

"Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay.
However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station.
