Gothic design gets a little getting used to. Theres a plaster bird mounted on a wall which is off putting! Rooms very small with poor views, but clean Breakfast excellent and included in price. Rooftop bar excellent with views of the acropolis Location excellent for getting around central Athens and theres a department store for general shopping next door. The hotel provides water and a small bottle of prosecco on arrival. All things considered, excellent value for money.

Das Hotel ist super, nur gibt es in diesen Zimmern so viel schwarze Flächen, auch das Bad ist ganz in schwarz gehalten, ohne Tageslicht, dass alles schon ein wenig bedrückend wirkt.

Das Hotel hat eine Top Verkehrsanbindung und man kann auch zu Fuß schnell touristische Highlights, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch Restaurants erreichen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick zum Omonia Platz war okay, allerdings muß man auch Nachts das Fenster wegen dem Verkehrslärm geschlossen halten. Störend empfanden wir das es in dem Zimmer keinen Schrank, praktisch null Ablagemöglichkeiten gab. Man lebte aus dem Koffer. Es gab nur eine Stange mit Bügeln für Hemden und Jacken über dem kleinen Sideboard wo sich der Kühlschrank und der Tresor befand. Eine Gepäckablage ähnlich der in einem Reisezug Waggon war die einzige Möglichkeit für Stauraum.

Good hotel at a location where there is good transportation. Nice room with balcony and a view at the city. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is extended with more than enough options.

Worst hotel. Besides the first day with the amazing gentleman, the service was bad. Rooms where super claustrophobic and small. Did laundry with them and they ruined all our clothes. Including asking for extra money because the laundry mat was closed. They sent my laundry to a different laundry mat without my consent, which cost more. They never communicated this with us. They said they called our room but we notified them we weren't there, they had our details yet never called, including email and mobile number. How can a laundry mat be closed when they where meant to be doing it through the hotel? Never staying here again. Definitely don't recommend this place for anyone to stay. All you see is beggars and a mess outside. Upstairs rooftop was so crap. I'm so glad I left for a whole day to Zakynthos, staying there for three days would of given me anxiety.

Hotellet i seg selv var fint nok, men ble skuffet over takterrassen og «bassenget» eller plaskepytten som vi valgte å kalle den. 0,7 meter dyp og fremstod som skikkelig skittent. Det var en gedigen nedtur. Grei mat. Sentralt og fint selv om nabobyggenes tak antenner ødela for fri sikt til Akropolis.

Hôtel bien situé, proche station de métro, proche de plaka et monastiraki. L'hôtel est confortable et bien équipé, la déco particulière (un peu sombre) mais on s'y fait. L'hôtel est propre et le petit déjeuner (buffet) très bien pourvu. Le toit terrasse offre une belle vue et un bar, la piscine est petite, vous n'y ferez pas des longueurs mais suffisante pour se rafraichir, beau séjour pour nous

A disappointing experience.
The positives - Friendly and helpful staff and a good buffet breakfast. The negatives - We booked a "superior room" as the standard rooms looked to be a little small. It appears that to provide the additional space of a superior room they just give you 2 interconnecting rooms and remove the bed from one of them. Hence we had 2 bathrooms, 2 fridges, 2 safes etc but no more room between the sides of the bed and the wall. (Friends booked a standard room and commented that it was almost impossible to store their luggage). The decor used in the rooms (black doors, black woodwork, black bathroom furniture and dark colours for other surfaces) makes the room very gloomy. Room service was a little lacking with repeated requests to provide more tea bags and wash used cups going ignored. The in room fridges rattle so much that I started to unplug them before going to bed. The hotel lifts are probably not fit for purpose. You will wait ages for a lift only to find it full when it arrives, you wait for the next one and then have the over weight alarm go off when other frustrated guests try to force their way in. The location is "interesting". It's reasonably good for seeing the city. However, one wrong turn and you are quickly in homeless junkieville. In fact, do not be surprised to find homeless people sleeping on the pavement just outside of the hotel regardless of the time of day or night. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend.
