A very good hotel, We haven't anything to complain over, except the aircondition. It would be nice if the speed could be turned down. it's the frist time that we have been called up by the reception and been afsked if everthing was ok.

Great place!
Service relations helped us when we got a smoking room. Yuck! But they moved us and was well in the world. Great breakfast. Friendly staff!

Facility and breakfast is 5 out of 5. Dinner is not good, I went for half board. I struggled to find nice food to eat. Overall the score reflected heavily towards the dinner side. Staff ask if everything is ok, but don't really mind the answers you gave or take a plate full of food away (as the food was not nice and not touched). Somewhat disappointed, but there is McDonald near by if you want to stay with them. Facility is ace.

We stayed here for one night before starting our cruise. The room was clean, but the interior is dated. Looks like somethng straight out of 1985. It was quiet, and the wifi worked well which is a stuggle in Egypt. The breakfast was also outstanding.

It has an excellent location, but sadly, it is run down and in need of serious updating. The hotel has no limo service and is left to guests to arrange transport from the Aswan river bank dock.

Old hotel design and rooms
The hotel and the rooms are too old, in particular, the design style and the furnitures. We can see that the staff has been trying to maintain the best condition and keep the furniture clean but the furniture and decoration are really quite old. When the rooms are not cheap, I do not expect the rooms are that old. The hotel is located in the island which requires us to take the boat provided by the hotel from the city to the island. The boat operates 24 hours 7 days so it would not be any problem for this. Apart from that, our stay in Movenpick was still good and peaceful. The breakfast was normal; the room service is good; check-in and check-out are smooth; the transfer boat is good as well.

it was rather difficult to get to the free boat shuttle to the hotel as it was unclear who actually belonged to the hotel and who wants to sell you something. the hotel had no atmosphere at all. the pool area is not inviting and the food was horrible.

Wonderful Location in Aswan
We stayed at this property in December of 2022 and cannot recommend it enough. The location is amazing and the hotel has a boat that runs every 15 minutes to take you back to the main land. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in Aswan.

Very accommodating
We were traveling in a large group and did not realize we were in a separate tower from the others. At check in, the manager not only accommodated us by putting us in the same tower, but upgraded us to the presidential suite! It was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Paid $380.00 a night. Wen to resturant and they served old wine and changed 4 times. ordered Grill seafood and shrimp was gone bad and compliant and they took the bill. then order dessert, took a long time so we paid and left due to staff told me to deliver our room. made a several calls and one hour later delivered. call front desk to arrange Taxi and they told me first $150.00 Hotel to Aswan airport and I compliant again and reduce price to $35.00. very upsetting this type of behavior. Finally went to shower and no shampoo or sny soap. It was a good day to Abu Simbel and everything went wrong to check in very expensive hotel. Hotel should refund the stay. Thank you

The location is perfect ! You can see the Nile River and it’s beauty right in front of you, the hotel is located in elephantine isle so there’s security and tranquility in the area leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind. The staff are nice, in fact, in one of our walks in the property, there was this man in the cart offering us a ride as we explore the island and he introduced us to the various sustainable projects they have in the property like their vegetable and flower gardens and he turned out to be the general manager, Staff are nice and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel if you will be in Aswan .

Movenpick Aswan is a very good 4 star hotel, located on an island away from the hustle of Aswan city. It has a great ferry connection, very good staff and excellent breakfast included.

the concierge were a gem! went above and beyond, from organizing a very last minute transfer to having delivered a left itemn at our next hotel. can only highly recommend as the place to stay in aswan. location is amazing too!

it is tough to give full rating - we were only overnight for 4hrs becuase of very late Egypt Air arrival. So sad - the resort looked awesome - even at 1:30a
