Jason and Guest-Thank you, again, for your kind Review. Yes, for warmer weather we do have excellent fans and cross-breezes, from the Evergreen trees. (As you mentioned, it was unseasonable warm, so we had the fan in the closet, of each Suite; yet, we will make certain, that they are placed in the living area of the Suite, for more read-use). Air conditioners are just not in hotels in this area (as we rarely have very hot weather). Yes, the Inn is an Historic Inn and the Chalet also has three Suites. Both have been uo-dated, for full modern amenities. For future guests, there is also a two-acre park-like area, with campfire area and a Hottub, for privately-scheduled time. (Once again, we hope that your Climb to the top of Mt. Rainier was successful)!

We are pleased, that overall it seems that you had an enjoyable and relaxing time. We decided to actually measure the door, more for our information. It has a 1/4” gap at the bottom (with a special crown-molding coming up to meet the door. There is no gap on the sides at all…as it has the special molding, that doesn’t even allow for a gap. All a person needs to do is lock their door, when inside. The Home is built with a Craftsman-style (and exceptional craftsmanship), with solid wood doors and with special crown molding. We just need to respectfully differ with you. We do respect that you had a different opinion. Our Guests seem to be highly appreciative of the 1910 Craftsman home, that has been up-dated and remodeled. Take care…

(We are very sad to hear about the coffee cup - our housekeepers work very, very hard to have all impeccably clean. We are actually an Historic Inn and Chalet Suites. The two lodgings have been upgraded and yet they retain their charm. There are three separate Suites in the Chalet (studio-like) and two spacious suites in the Inn. We are very pleased, that you seemed to appreciate the check-in process and other information, for ease with your stay. You seemed to also enjoy the S’mores machine and makings and the breakfast items, to enjoy at your own leisure.As for the mattress, it really is an individual’s own level of comfort. Most all guests seem to really enjoy the bed, mattress and the designer (600-thread) sheets. The sheets are just new (with several washings). As for the bathroom, it does have an excellent fan (the switch to the fan is just outside the door to the bathroom: it is a combination fan/light). There is an additional light switch inside the bathroom. We must respectfully disagree, there just is not mold in the bathroom or anywhere…we inspect the premises daily and we have a contractor, who inspects premises weekly, as well. As for the TV, there is a Direct TV in the living room of the Inn, with numerous channels. It seems that you even had a chance to enjoy this, which we are pleased about. The Chalet Suites have their own DirectTVs. Yet, we find most guests really enjoy their iPads, iPhones and other devices, even above the TV. Also, most all lodgings in this area, do not have any TV and when they do, they have local stations only.We truly see that it is the attitude of the Guest that determines their experience. If they see the cup more-than-half full, in general, that is the way they seem to experience life on a daily bases, wherever they are located. We wish you happy days…

We are very pleased, that you seemed to enjoy your relaxation here. Yes, there is an array of breakfast items (usually, bagels with condiments, yogurt, granola, breakfast sandwiches, milk, juice, tea, coffee and yes, thankfully, the beloved S’mores. We want it to be enjoyable. As for the restaurants, they do stay open longer, as the summer becomes busier (yet, it is quite wise to check the times). It is very wonderful, though, to have an excellent selection of restaurants, with amazing menu items and at reasonable rates. It is very exciting to be by Mt. Rainier.

We are very pleased, that you found your Suite to be nice and neighbors quiet. You actually had a studio-Suite, with a lot more space and amenities, than most all lodgings. Yes, we are an Inn and Chalet Suites. (Ever since there have been issues related to health-COVID- then, most all lodgings provide individually prepared food items. There just has needed to be much more care with processes). All items are carefully assimilated by staff, who are able to do so and do so within all processes. You might consider a more large, hotel setting (yet, the lodgings by Mt. Rainier are smaller). Best wishes…

Our Guests seem to really enjoy the Chalet (it has never been a converted garage). The Chalet has three separate, spacious, studio-like Suites. Each Suite has two beds (with luxurious bedding), living/dining area (with Direct/Smart TV), kitchenette (with utensils, glassware and dinnerware), spacious bathrooms (with walk-in showers). There is also an Inn (and that has three spacious Suites, with shared living/dining/kitchenette area). We find that it really is more the viewpoint of the person, coming to stay (seeing life with the “cup, more than half-full” or not). When Guests have an overall “attitude of gratitude”, they can see all that there is offered here (as well as a 3-acre park-like setting, with campfire area, Hottub and walking areas). Please come and enjoy.

We are very pleased, that you seemed to have an enjoyable and relaxing time. (Thank you, for sharing about the Spacious Suite, with many amenities, that we have at a reasonable rate, for a win-win). For future Guests, what is quite excellent is how we will have some weather conditions here, at 1700-feet, then inside the Park, another weather zone at Longmire area at about 3200-feet and the yet, another weather zone at Paradise, at 5400-feet, so that the weather changes. It seems that there is always an area, in order to walk, hike, ski or snowshoe, with fairly excellent conditions. Fortunately, the weather just hasn’t keep Guests from really enjoying the magnificent Mt. Rainier area. Please come and enjoy!!

For future Guests, we have breakfast items, that seem to be enjoyed at one’s Suite or while sight-seeing. By code, we are able to offer bagels (rather than danishes), yogurt, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea and a s’mores set-up, that people seem to adore.
