A beautiful 1940s barn on an 1890 mountain property - once a working poultry farm where cattle were driven along Bull Creek to the Biltmore House - reimagined as a private creative and wellness retreat. THE SPACE

The main floor is built around movement and creativity. A full-length mirror wall with ballet barre, three roll-out paper backdrops, a premium sound system, and 550 square feet of professional sprung hardwood floor make this a serious working studio. A 55” TV with floor seating, hanging hammock chair, two whiteboards, a fold-out desk, yoga mats, and weights round it out.

The kitchenette and bathroom are both brand new. The kitchen has a Keurig, electric kettle, microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge with freezer, spring water dispenser, bar seating, and full place settings. The bathroom has a full standup tile shower with frameless glass door and a wall heater.

Up the repurposed attic stairs is the loft suite: king bed dressed in 100% cotton sheets, cozy loveseat, dresser, large window with a South-facing sunny mountain view, all under that whitewashed pine ceiling.

Outside: private infrared sauna, fire pit, covered pergola dining area, pull-up bars, basketball hoop, and 300 sq ft deck, and a shared rear green area. Parking for two directly out front.

WHO STAYS HERE

Hikers and outdoor explorers use it as a well-equipped base camp for the Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfalls, and trails, with a sauna waiting when they get back.

GUEST ACCESS
Exclusive use of the barn studio, 300 sq ft deck, sauna, and fire pit. Parking for two directly in front of the studio entrance.
The property is shared with an adjacent 1890 farmhouse (available as a separate rental). The upper rear yard and playground are shared between both rentals. The front yard and main grounds are for farmhouse guests only.

Other things to note
GOOD TO KNOW
The bedroom loft is accessed by repurposed attic-style folding stairs. Guests MUST be comfortable climbing up and down the ladder/stairs unassisted - not suitable for young children or guests with mobility limitations.

Professional photo shoots are welcome. Please roll up backdrops after use.

Infrared sauna is on the deck. Allow 15–20 minutes to preheat.

Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM.

You may hear guests from the main farmhouse if they are on their deck but they are asked to honor the same quiet hours as you.
