The custom hardscaped cabana connects it all, with motorized shades, comfortable lounge seating, and outdoor dining positioned toward the mountain landscape.

There is no appointment and no prescribed schedule. Use everything, use one thing, or simply lie beside the pool and watch the mountains change with the light. This is wellness on your own terms.

Restoration does not always mean being still. Esencia's private pickleball court was built for a genuinely great playing experience, with a professional-quality surface, all-weather drainage, and stadium lighting that allows the game to continue after sunset.

A dedicated yoga and movement room gives you space to stretch, breathe, practice, or move at your own pace, with weights, resistance bands, and an inversion table available.

An 83-inch Samsung TV with Sonos sound anchors one end of the room. The Belgium-made Stuv30 wood-burning stove creates a quieter place to settle at the other. An electric fireplace adds quick warmth on shoulder-season evenings. Radiant floors bring gentle warmth throughout the home.

◆◆ KITCHEN AND COFFEE ◆◆
The kitchen was created for people who genuinely enjoy food, coffee, and gathering. Generous prep space, an induction cooktop with pot filler, two workstation sinks, two dishwashers, multiple ovens, a Vitamix, Nama Juicer, and an open layout make it equally comfortable for an easy breakfast or a celebratory dinner with the whole group. The Napoleon grill extends the kitchen onto the outdoor deck.

Mornings deserve their own ritual here. The coffee bar includes a Breville Barista Touch for espresso, a Moccamaster for slow-drip coffee, and a Nespresso Vertuo for simpler mornings. Carry it outside, watch the mountain light move, and decide what, if anything, needs to happen next.

Esencia Main house has four dedicated king bedrooms and en-suites, giving every guest a true bedroom space while allowing the home to adapt to different kinds of stays. Two bedrooms are also designed as thoughtful flex spaces. One is a light-filled yoga and movement room with a king Murphy bed and full en-suite bathroom, which functions fully as a bedroom when needed and as a dedicated movement space during the day. Another doubles as a private office and quiet retreat, with a premium convertible king sleeper and its own bathroom.

The Cottage has a queen one-bedroom with en-suite and a queen sleeper-sofa.

Across all bedrooms, the atmosphere is bright, calm, and uncluttered, with high ceilings, large windows, crisp white bedding, and a clean modern feel. Each guest room has its own en-suite, plus an extra powder room in the main house so that everyone can move with ease.

◆◆ NATURE, GARDEN AND THE LAND ◆◆
One of the pleasures of Esencia is how often the landscape finds you. Twelve acres surround the home with rolling hills, wooded areas, open views, and walking opportunities. An organic vegetable garden and fruit orchard produce peaches, pears, blueberries, raspberries, and wild black raspberries in season. Mountain views appear from the bedrooms, living spaces, deck, pool, wellness area, and pickleball court. Morning mist, golden hour, and sunset each give the property a completely different mood.

You are close enough to Asheville to go out for dinner, art, music, or shopping, yet removed enough that returning home feels like returning to your own private retreat.

Esencia was designed to welcome different generations and levels of mobility. The home is fully single-level with no interior stairs. Accessibility features include wide circulation areas, grab bars in all showers, and a roll-in shower in one bathroom.
The Cottage does have set of 8 stairs to reach the deck and entrance.
For families traveling with older parents or guests with reduced mobility, this thoughtful design makes spending time together considerably easier.
