"We stayed in Richard's property for a week-end to celebrate a 60th birthday. We had wanted to visit Carcassonne for a long time - the area, and the accommodation, were perfect, and we enjoyed interesting conversations with Richard, who also recommended an excellent restaurant ten minutes' walk away. The apartment is very quiet: all we could hear from the terrace in the evening was the river and water birds; but at the same time it is a short walk up to the mediaeval citadel in one direction, and...

"This is a very cute little property right on the outside of the city walls, abiut 6 minited walk in the side entrance of the city walls. It was recently renovated and very quaint and clean. The 3rd bedroom/2nd full bath are actually in a small out building from the main house which i did not realize but actuallu worked very well for separation. Lovely outside space to site and have a glass of wine! "
