"The facility is lovely and the service was beyond compare. The spa was among the very best I’ve been to, and the on site restaurant is excellent. It’s a bit of a walk to sites, but worth it to be removed from the crowds and have beautiful grounds with a pool. The hotel lives up to its 5-star rating."

"Lovely hotel, staff very committed to make your stay an amazing experience"

"Overall was the room perfect, the front desk was perfect, but 2 small things was not what I would call 5 star hotel. Cleaning was not the west, every day was something forgotten and you could se the non of them worked the same way. The breakfast facilities are to small for this hotel, and it is time to rethink the way the service are, why serve coffee and the when they are understaffed any way. Just observations."

"Staff made this stay a truly memorable and pleasant stay - thanks!"

"Everything about this location was fantastic!! The room was spacious and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect!"

"Great breakfast buffet. Very serviceminded staff. Pool area at rooftop good."

"Very old and beautiful building (well maintenance shown) very good location, walkable to the points of interest in a hilly town!! Good public transportation in front of the building, cheap taxis, don’t forget to ride the “tranvías” specially route 18 to see the sunset in the Atlantic Ocean"

"Everything was good and the host is really nice and welcoming, except for the shower. The water was not very hot and it became cold at one point when I was showering."

Dejlig central beliggenhed. Ingen støj. Dejlig madras."

"There was a scheduled time for kids under 16 in the pool. Just be aware that after a long day in the city the kids cant cool down in the pool and relax."

"Excellent family run hotel in the centre of old Porto. Close proximity to everything. Very good breakfast, dining and very friendly service. Located at very busy pedestrian street with numerous restaurants and cafes right next door and across the street. Frequently live musicians playing on the street. Atmosphere is great. Yet the room we had was very quiet and the comfort level was very good. Excellent bed I might add. My only little wish would be a bit more luggage stowage capacity in the...

"Very charming hotel – unusual because it reminds me more of an upscale B&B. Big garden with music, bar and restaurant (which we didn't try), friendly staff and ok. breakfast. It's not close to the inner city - it takes 15 minutes to walk, but it's ok. But beware that you have to check in before 10pm. We arrived late with the plane and after midnight it was closed and locked up (you need a passkey for the door), so we had to find another hotel at 2 am - NOT FUNNY! I think for young people the...
