The Shore Thing - where lake days are guaranteed! Welcome to your perfect family getaway at Bridges Bay Resort in Okoboji! This FOUR-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom vacation home comfortably sleeps 12+ guests and is designed for families looking to relax, play, and make unforgettable memories. With an open concept 2,200 sq. ft floor plan, kid-friendly amenities, laundry/mudroom and six daily waterpark passes for Boji Splash Waterpark and swim-up bar ($175 value!), your group will have everything needed for a fun and stress-free stay.

As a private host, I take pride in making sure every detail is just right so you can focus on what truly matters—relaxing, making memories, and enjoying time with loved ones.

- Master Suite (Main Level) – King bed, private bath, and walk-in closet with Pack 'n Play (great for a "nursery")
- North Queen Bedroom (Lower Level) – Queen bed
- Middle Queen Bedroom (Lower Level) – Queen Bed
- Bunk Bedroom (Lower Level) – Full-over-full bunk beds with Pack 'n Play
- Family Room (Lower Level) – Twin trundle bed (2 twins)


Thoughtfully Stocked & Kid-Friendly!
As a farm wife and momma of four little ones under the age of four— I know exactly how much stuff it takes to travel with kids (and how exhausting that can be!). That’s why I’ve thoughtfully stocked The Shore Thing with everything I’d want in a vacation home—so you don’t have to bring the kitchen sink. My goal is simple: to give your family the same kind of getaway I’d want for mine—restful, fun-filled, and low-stress. Our home includes:
- 2 Pack ‘n Plays
- Highchair that straps to a chair and dinnerware (plates, silverware, sippy cups, bibs)
- Kids' games, puzzles, books and toys
- Blackout curtains, white noise machines, and audio monitors
- Two strollers for easy outings
- Extra lawn chairs & yard games


Your Home Away from Home
The fully equipped open concept kitchen features granite countertops, full-size appliances, and everything needed for cooking: pots & pans, silverware, basic spices & oils, crockpot, electric skillet, toaster, blender, coffee maker and Keurig (K-cups & coffee not provided) and more! Enjoy meals together at the dining table (seats 6) and kitchen island (seats 4). With easy access to a covered patio with gas grill and outdoor dining setup. Or kick back in the spacious living areas with high-speed WiFi and flat-screen TVs.

Also on the main level is the Master bedroom which boasts a king-sized bed and master ensuite bathroom with updated shower head, spacious vanity, walk-in closet, towels, hairdryer and other toiletries provided. We like to use the walk-in closet as a little nursery and set up the baby monitor and pack 'n play in there. Main floor also has a new washer and dryer with detergent in the mudroom which is right off of the garage.

There's a spacious garage that's equipped with all the necessities to enjoy a fun, family-filled weekend including a full-sized fridge for drinks or extra food, room to park 1 car, 2 strollers, bikes, sidewalk chalk, pool toys, yard games and lawn chairs. There is also an extra parking pad in front of the cabin that fits 3 cars.

On the lower level you will find bedroom 2 & 3 which are queen bedrooms with a closet, linens, and luggage rack. The 4th bedroom offers full-over-full bunk beds and a Pack 'n Play. All bedrooms have a baby monitor, white noise machines and black-out curtains if desired. Also on the lower level is a spacious family room with a trundle bed (2 twins), a flat-screen TV and an oversized sectional. There is also a full-sized bathroom with shower/tub combo, towels, hand-soap, hair dryer and other toiletries provided.

You’ll also find grocery stores and convenience shops nearby to easily stock up on everything you need for your stay. There are also plenty of options to get items delivered if you prefer to stay-in!

- 50% is due at the time of booking; final balance due 30 days before arrival
- Cancel up to 60 days before arrival for full refund
- Cancel 31-60 days before arrival = 50% refund
- Cancel within 30 days of arrival = no refund
