"I thought the renovation was amazing. It is quick and easy access to everything downtown and Canal Point. The neighborhood is also being renovated. We were on the first floor in front of the street window so there was some noise later in the evening. Overall, will absolutely come back. The room itself was lovely!!!"

"Cool hotel with friendly bar on main floor. Beds were comfortable. Room very clean. Easy parking across the street. The only negative was the sad state of downtown Duluth - I wasn't expecting big city problems in a small town (high # of homeless, obnoxious e-bikers along the lake path, etc.). "

Everything you need for a short or medium term stay. Staff was corteous, quick and diligent. There is really not a hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, porridge, or that sort of things) but some frozen waffles and bread to toast among the typical cold dry items. The breakfast area consists of 2 long comunal tables which are cramming all the lobby/check in...

Fitger’s has a classic, historic vibe and the beds were comfortable. The coffee was good too. But for the price, I expected more. Breakfast was only granola bars, which felt disappointing, and the place feels dated in ways that aren’t entirely charming. It’s fine if you want the landmark experience, but I’m not sure what justifies the cost."

We had 5 guests and only 2 beds, no sofa sleeper as indicated through Expedia site. "This hotel offers a comfortable bed, clean rooms, and easy (free) parking. The building from the 1920’s and offers that type of accommodation with modern amenities. My room was made up daily which doesn’t seem to be so common nowadays. The only drawback for me was that the elevator was broken. That’s a bummer when dealing with luggage but for the price, perfectly fine."

"I like staying at The Suites in Duluth, MN. The hotel is by many restaurants and shopping. We like going to the Lift Bridge to watch the ships come in. Check in was fast.The hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is wonderful and they have a nice breakfast. Eggs, meat, cereals, bagels, waffles,fruit, juice, and milk. The Suites has a nice pool and hot tub. We definitely will stay there again."
