Shasky Retreat- Cozy Cabin in Big Trees Village

Escape to the mountains and enjoy a relaxing stay at Shasky Retreat! This classic single-story cabin among the pines is the perfect spot to wind down and rejuvenate, and as a bonus is pet-friendly! Enter into the cozy great room with vaulted knotty pine ceilings and a wood burning stove. Adjacent is the the dining area and fully equipped kitchen. You can also easily access the spacious deck to enjoy al fresco dining! There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (one in the primary bedroom). Shasky’s Retreat has been a favorite place to stay for many guests over the years and sits in the ideal location on the mountain with easy access to Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Bear Valley Ski Resort, Lake Alpine, the towns of Arnold and Murphys for shopping and dining, and close proximity to many fun outdoor activities!

Shasky Retreat sleeps 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, all on one floor. Bedroom 1 is the primary with a Queen bed and private full bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, and Bedroom 3 has a trundle bed and bunk bed, for a total of 4 Twins. There’s an additional full bathroom off the hallway.

Linens and towels provided. Maximum 8 guests. Pets ok, no smoking, no check-ins on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or Easter Sunday. Patio furniture is seasonal.
