Lux's Lair - Classic Chalet in Big Trees Village

Welcome to this classic chalet-style cabin nestled among the trees in the heart of the Sierras. Perfect for a cozy escape with you and yours, multiple families, or a large group of friends! Whatever the agenda, you are sure to escape from the hustle and bustle and enjoy mountain life and nature at its finest. You will enjoy seamless access to all that Calaveras County has to offer — from hiking to wine tasting, snowboarding to snowshoeing, or even fishing the beautiful Stanislaus River or one of the many local lakes. During the summer, enjoy access to the neighborhood pool and rec center. And during the winter, you are a beautiful 25-minute drive to Bear Valley Ski Resort. Whenever you decide to make the trip, it’s simply the perfect mountain escape.

Important Details to Note: Tenant must be at least 25 years old. This cabin is pet friendly - there is a $50 non-refundable pet fee - 2 dog maximum. (please include in your reservation notes how many pets you're bringing). Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only). Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.
A 2% surcharge (of the transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the 2% c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.
NO smoking of ANY kind on the premises (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, etc.), burning incense or candles, for the health and safety of all. Any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. Violation of our 100% smoke & drug free policy will result in a $350 charge.
