Welcome to 'Villa Astro'

Set in the picturesque village of Argaka, surrounded by gorgeous beaches, tumbling mountains and sea views as far as the eye can see, Villa Astro is a dream holiday home for the whole family.

This stunning, spacious villa is set in a serene secluded spot surrounded by fields, palms and citrus trees. Argaka is a very affluent and tranquil location situated just outside the traditional yet vibrant town of Polis just North of Paphos.

After leaving the coastal road, the villa is easily accessed by a private road. The villa is at the end of this small road so nobody ever passes. All amenities are close by and there is a newly constructed promenade which assists with walking along the coastline in both directions. Several Tavernas as well as the beach itself forms part of a beautiful stretch of coastline going all the way to Latchi and the Akamas Nature Reserve in one direction and & 'Pomos' (the last village in the South of Cyprus) in the other. Santa Barbara Beach Bar is just 100 metres away from Villa Astro. It has swings, a changing area and sun loungers and does lovely dishes if you fancied a spot of lunch after a relaxing afternoon at the beach.

It's just a 5 minute walk (300m) to Liza's Place' which is a homely taverna with kind owners serving delicious Cypriot food. There is even an Irish Bar just 1km away which has Wi-Fi, entertainment, great food/drinks selection and overlooks the Sea from its veranda. They also run a kids activity club in the summer months.

The villa has four en suite bedrooms, sleeping eight (one or two infants extra would be permitted). A/C is throughout the villa and it complete with modern conveniences which include wireless internet, Satellite TV in the lounge (Premium channels including sports, music and cinema) & DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen features a gas hob and extractor fan, dishwasher, microwave and the washing machine is in the upstairs utility area.

The outdoor area features a 10m by 5m private swimming pool (with heating option), sun loungers and parasols, poolside dining area seating 8 shaded under a wooden pergola, pool table, table tennis court, kids play area and stone BBQ for alfresco dining. Upstairs features two large verandas, both offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, glistening coastline and spectacular mountains.

The pristine beach is a one/two minute walk away along with the lovely little beach cafe. All other amenities such as traditional Cypriot restaurants, bars, a bakery and two mini-markets, are also within walking distance or a very short car journey away. Villa Astro is a stunning property, set in a beautiful location, making it a very exciting new addition to our Paphos portfolio.


DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR

Ground Floor

As you enter the villa you will be welcomed into the bright, homely kitchen/living area. On your right there is the lounge which features a three piece sofa set, ornamental stone fireplace, glass top coffee table, flat screen satellite TV and triple French doors leading to the gorgeous pool area.

To the left you will find the fully equipped kitchen which hosts a grand wooden dining table seating eight. This is bright open room filled with natural light and views to the outdoor pool table and garden.

As we leave the kitchen/ lounge area we arrive at the two ground floor bedrooms. The first room is the double room with views of the private pool area which features a king sized bed, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, mirror, en suite shower room and French doors leading outdoors to the relaxing pool area. The second bedroom is a twin room (can be made double if required) and it too features built in wardrobes, chest of drawers and mirror, en suite shower room and a patio door leading out to the garden.

First Floor

As we walk up the stunning marble staircase we arrive at the upper landing. Here you will find the washing machine along with a sink and built in cupboards. Straight ahead is the romantic master suite featuring a king sized bed, built in wardrobes, catape cheval mirror, en suite bathroom and two sets of patio doors; the triple set leads out to the shared veranda which offers incredible panoramic sea view and meditating sounds of the waves when falling asleep. The second set of French doors lead out to the private veranda on which overlooks the sea and surrounding fields and mountains.

The second bedroom is a twin room (can also be made a double if required). It, like the master features built in wardrobes, a catape cheval mirror, en suite bathroom and triple patio doors leading out to the large shared veranda.

Please note that the owner can supply 2 cots and 2 highchairs for younger children. There is also a stairgate

Flyscreens are fitted to the windows of bedrooms and kitchen. There are hairdryers in each bedroom. Aphrostrom Matresses have been added for your comfort. Flexible Bed Arrangements (The twin beds can be made to doubles on request.)

**The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as many channels in German, Spanish and Russian. There is also an automatically updated Video Library with films, series and more**.


DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

Ground Floor

As you walk up the palm tree lined driveway towards the villa you will be greeted by the front porch and east pergola. Under the wooden pergola there is a pool table and seating area for those fun evening game nights.

To the front of the villa you will come to the large open pool area. The glistening private swimming pool (with heating option) is 10m by 5m and is surrounded by eight sun loungers, two parasols, four drinks tables and a traditional stone BBQ. There is also a sofa set allowing an outdoor lifestyle at all times. of day and night.

The lounges' triple patio doors lead out to the outdoor poolside dining area which features a large dining table seating eight and is sheltered under a classic wooden pergola.

As we walk around we will pass through the garden which surrounds the villa and features olive trees, greenery and a table tennis court. There is also a kids play area

First Floor

The top floor verandas are the place to be during the spectacular sunsets. The large shared veranda can be accessed by either of the two first floor bedrooms. It has a table and two chairs and overlooks the swimming pool (lit to perfection at night) and offers views of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea and distant mountains.

The second veranda is exclusive only to the master suite. It is accessed via the French doors and also has a seating area where you can relax with a glass of wine under the twinkling Milky Way.

''Villa Astro is a gorgeous villa in a peaceful location. Beautiful inside & out, everything you need is provided, (except for a working corkscrew, very frustrating but we managed [Emoji Removed]) Lovely quiet location, car is necessary for grocery shopping.

Santa Barbara Beach bar & Restaurant, is lovely 5 minute (slow) walk from villa. Great staff & lovely food & drinks.

Stephen provided excellent service, answering all queries in a timely manner, nothing was too much trouble. A real credit to the company. Georgiou was very attentive and helpful without being intrusive, we had a couple of small issues (nothing that really mattered) and he sorted them the same day. And he brought cake - twice!! '

''Fantastic villa – it had everything we could have asked for and more! The villa was incredibly spacious and we especially appreciated how many bathrooms there were. The pool was the perfect temperate and we enjoyed using the pool and table tennis. The use of Netflix, You Tube etc on the TV was ideal. More than enough and a wide variation of cooking and kitchen utensils were provided. We could not fault the property.

It more was rural that we expected and slightly further from a food shop than we hoped but we found a great taxi company which took us there and into Polis. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. We went to Santa Barbara Tavern and the beach a lot – we loved how close it was. Moustakallis Tavern and the Fish Tavern restaurant nearby there (can’t remember the name) for dinner – truly amazing food and service. The Wave in Latchi was also a fun bar.

More than satisfied with all service received. Again, I could not fault the service and would definitely go through LetsRentOnline again. This villa deserves a 5 star review.Thanks again for your assistance with our booking. We had an amazing holiday and are sad to be back home!.''

''Villa Astro is a lovely and we’ll definitely be back. The pool area is private, very pretty and has lovely sea views. Villa, pool and outdoor areas are very well equipped and maintained.
The owners have gone the extra mile in providing a pool table, table tennis, a selection of kids play equipment, and sky TV. Villa Astro is just a stumble away from the highly rated Santa Barbara Beach bar and restaurant.

Argaka is a lovely and quiet location, and as long as you’ve got a car, theres plenty of things to see and see and do, with great water sports, buggy hire for exploring the Akamas, lovely restaurants, and a great water park in Paphos for the kids.

We like and recommend The Old Town restaurant in Polis. Molo’s restaurant in Latchi. Santa Barbara Beach Bar. Latchi water sports.

On the main road in front of the house (approx 100 m from the house) there are quite a few restaurants every couple of hundred meters. Santa Barbera Restaurant for example right on the other side of the road has a beautiful sea view and good food. A very good Restaurant can the found in Polis (10 minutes by car) the "Old town restaurant".

Georgios is very friendly and helpful.Communcation with Steven was friendly and easy.''

''The Villa was perfect! It was very comfortable that every bedroom had it’s own bathroom. It gives you privacy! The kitchen was well equipped. The swimming pool was big and clean! A beautiful garden and enough to do for everyone. The swing, the trampoline for the little children and table tennis and pool table was nice for everyone

The location was fine. Near the beach and near a perfect beach bar! We surely would recommend Beach Bar/restaurant Santa Barbara!! We also hired a boat for 4 hours at Laski Watersports! Perfect!

We were very satisfied with the services and especially the communication with the agents of Lersrentonline !! The instructions were clear and friendly. We always did get very quick answer on our questions! With the owner, Very content! We felt very welcome! Always get a soon reply! And he brought us orange cake, apple pie and summer fruit! Really very sweet.

We had a great time with our family in Villa Astro in Cyprus. It was the second time we stayed at the Villa and it felt like coming home! It was for us the first time that we stayed twice in the same place.

''Excellent villa, it was very clean, much larger rooms than we were expecting and the pool was lovely. We were really impressed with it. Although it was set back from the sea, it was still a lovely view of it, especially from the balconies.

The location was good, could walk to a few bars and restaurants, would definitely need a hire car though, as supermarkets were too far away to walk to. We went to Paphos a couple of times (just under an hour) and Limassol (90 mins) both were very good, but there were not many places closer to visit. Excellent location for a relaxing holiday though.

Santa Barbara at the end of the drive (was literally about 75m) was great. We ate there a couple of times and enjoyed both very much. Brilliant view of the sunset from there.

Brilliant service from you, always kept up to date, always quick to respond and everything was clear throughout regarding the cost and payment dates. Had little interaction with the owner but was very polite and helpful and bought us a local bottle of wine on our last night which was lovely. The property was fantastic and information sheets were helpful''

''The Villa itself is as always very good - spacious, well equipped and very clean. A good location in a quiet residential area with great views of the sea and surrounding hills, a fantastic beach bar just 100m down the track and within a 10 -12 minute drive (or taxi) of polis town where there are numerous bars and Tavernas. Also there are a couple of mini-marts and a great bakery also within Argaka for essential supplies as well as a very good supermarket in Polis.

We would recommend Santa Barbara beach bar/restaurant just down the track from the villa - excellent plave to watch the sunset and great food, the Half-way house restaurant on the outskirts of Argaka - just 5 mins drive for great breakfasts and fantastic kebabs and in Polis `Finikas` for smart dining in great contemporary surroundings but at reasonable prices.

In terms of your service as agents we appreciate how rapidly responsive and helpful you are. The service provided by the owners is great- they are very welcoming, and helpful if needed, and generous with gifts of fresh fruit and wine and keep the villa very clean. Nothing to improve this time, but did appreciate that attention was paid to some suggestions we made in the past as to the comfort of the sunbeds ( cushions now provided) and the uneveness of the pool table which has now been replaced

''The villa came up to our expectations and more. It was very clean and the rooms are spacious. All bedrooms being en suite is brilliant. The pool is great and the garden loungers and other furniture are just right. The weather was very hot and humid while we were there so the sofas, table and chairs which were very often in the shade were much appreciated. The pool table was well used and enjoyed. The garden is lovely and is so peaceful. Very often all we could hear was the sound of the sea - bliss!

The location is ideal, being so near to the sea, tavernas and beach bars as well as a bakery. The drive to Polis is really easy and only takes a few minutes.

We would recommend:

The Paradisos Hills hotel at Lysos. An idyllic, peaceful spot with wonderful views. The staff are very welcoming. We called in for coffee and home made cake and returned on our last night for a lovely meal.

The Stone Lion taverna at Goudi. Again very welcoming friendly staff and very good Lebanese and Greek food. Very reasonable prices. Probably need to book.

BBQ Man Cyprus. We were in Cyprus for a small wedding. In the evening Josh and Bambos from BBQ Man prepared a fabulous BBQ for us. The food was really super and they were great. For a real treat get them to come and cater for you.

We were very satisfied with Lets Rent on Line very prompt and helpful responses to any queries we had. We didn't meet any local managers probably because we were out a lot but they came promptly and tried to resolve a couple of small issues we had. Unfortunately the leak in one of the ground floor bathrooms recurred. Hopefully it has been fixed by now. In summary we absolutely loved the villa and didn't want to come home. Hopefully we will stay there again one day.. ''

''The villa itself was very good indeed, spacious, a well-equipped kitchen, good sized swimming pool and surrounding patio area with attractive planting. The location is good, a great view of the sea, a great restaurant & bar (Santa Barbara) just minutes walk away and not far from Polis with its good selection of restaurants. Santa Barbara in Argaka, the Halfway House for breakfast & lunch on the coast road to Polis, and in polis itself The Old Town, Polis herb garden and Moustakalis.
