"Resort meraviglioso, con personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo alloggiato per una notte ed abbiamo provato sia i bagni privati che il ristorante per la cena. Cena buonissima, abbondante e con un ottimo servizio. I bagni pubblici sono accessibili solo se non si hanno tatuaggi, o se piccoli devono essere coperti. Nel souvenir shop vendevano dei patch per coprire i piccoli tatuaggi. Super consigliato "

"The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient."

"Close to bamboo forest, being first time in Japan, the meaning of adults only is different than at resorts, but l was surprised by the comfort and the shuttle service provided. And the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. "

"If you want to experience traditional ryokan with fabulous meals, this is the place for you. It is a bit dated like visiting your relative’s house in the small town. It’s surrounded by maple forest, like living in a nice cabin. This is not modern hotel, if you set your expectation right, you will not be disappointed. All the stuffs are so kind and warm. They are great people dedicated to their jobs and it makes me want to visit Kyoto again."
