The rooms were clean and tidy, after a long days drive we were happy to order a freshly made pizza with some cool drinks and sit on the patio and enjoy the view over the river. The staff is amazing and totally willing to help with anything. The food was good. The best thing was the ambiance. We stayed in a stargazer tent and the stars did not disappoint. "Despite the cost and promise of WiFi and continental breakfast we were left with spotty slow WiFi at best and the breakfast was a selection of sugar filled cereal products, not actually a continental breakfast. The pool was closed, and looked like it had been for a while."

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own.
The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site.
Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside.

The Secret Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the attached bathroom had plenty of counter space. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room.
