Retreat villa Apokoronas

Douliana is a quiet, small, traditional village in harmony with the green nature in Apokoronas. The village is located 25 km from Chania and 35 km from the airport.
Only few km from the village are the sandy beaches of Alyrida, Kera and the amazing Obrosgialos. The village is located near the ancient Aptera. In the area there are many Venetian buildings and Byzantine temples The visitor can enjoy Cretan cuisine and raki in the traditional taverns. Just 25 km west is the city of Chania with the Venetian port and the archeological museum. At the East you can find the lake of Kournas and the city of Rethymnon with the impressive Venetian castle and the wonderful old town.
The house has 2 floors offering all the facilities of the modern house with wonderful terraces and views of the bay of Souda and Cretan Mountains. On the ground floor is the kitchen, equipped with all appliances, open space and wc. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, Attic and 2 bathrooms. The house is minimally furnished with traditional Cretan furniture. Next to the house there is a large, sharded for 2 houses, pool. In the village there is a traditional tavern, mini market and cafe.
Interacting with visitors from other countries with different cultures is a challenge for me. With many years of studies in the humanities and love for the Cretan countryside and tra-dition I will be your host
