Year of construction: 2005. Villa Minos is a spacious and exclusive 3-bedroomed villa, ideally located within the traditional village of Plaka, above Almyrida. Plaka is one of the prettiest villages of Crete, offering breathtaking views over the sea and offering a wide array of excellent traditional tavernas. More and more appreciated by the international clientele, is now an upmarket holiday destination, just a few min away from the beautiful sandy beaches of Almyrida. With 3 bedrooms, air conditioning through, 2 bathrooms, 1 WC, a generously sized private pool and unobstructed views to the sea, Villa Minos is the perfect holiday home for guests looking for an unforgettable holiday, out of the ordinary. This well-positioned, modern property boasts fabulous views along the coastline and across Souda Bay. Villa Minos has been designed over three floors, well laid out and modern with wonderful views from all the floor rooms and terraces. The ground floor offers a well-furnished studio (including sitting room and kitchen facilities), with an internal staircase leading up to the main accommodation on the first floor. Just a five minute walk from the center of village of Plaka which offers a choice of minimarkets and tavernas. A five minute drive will take you down to the resort centre of Almyrida where there is a lovely sandy beach along with a selection of bars, shops and tavernas. Inside, the villa is set over 3 floors, is fully air-conditioned and is surrounded by private gardens with lawn, palm trees and shrubs. Spacious terraces provide unforgettable views over the pool and the blue sea. The ground floor (pool level) is a spacious open plan area featuring double bed, comfortable sofas, satellite TV, a kitchenette (perfect for preparing poolside meals) and a shower room. A staircase leads up to the first floor, where the main living area is located. There is a huge lounge with adjoining kitchen and dining area, together with a WC. The kitchen, modern and fully equipped, features a dishwasher, washing machine, 4 cooking rings, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer. Large patio doors lead to the panoramic terraces, furnished with tables and chairs. The 2 further bedrooms (respectively a double and a twin) together with a family bathroom with bathtub are located on the second floor. Both the bedrooms enjoy the most breathtaking views over the sea and have direct access to a sea facing balcony. Outside, Villa Minos offers to its guests a generously sized private pool (8m x 4m, depth 0.85m to 1.6m) surrounded by manicured gardens with lawn. Comfortable sunbeds and parasols are provided, together with a useful brick-built barbecue and outdoor dining area. As from the indoor areas, also the gardens of Villa Minos offer breathtaking, unobstructed views to the Mediterranean Sea. Private parking is available.
