Most guests arrive by car. The road leading in - Rich Creek Rd - is a narrow, winding gravel road with gentle curves and rustic charm. Your vehicle will get dusty (it’s part of the adventure!).

Four-wheel drive is strongly recommended, especially in winter or rainy conditions.

Plenty of flat parking is available at the cabin for multiple vehicles or trailers.

ATV riders can hit nearby trails directly from the driveway, no hauling required.

While the property feels remote, you’re only a short drive from grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and laundromats in Oak Hill and Fayetteville.

You’ll have full access to the entire cabin and its 10 private acres - including the wraparound porch, fire pit, BBQ grill, and wooded trails that follow the gentle creek.

The property sits on an ATV-friendly country road, so you can ride straight from the driveway to nearby trails and explore miles of forest roads. There’s plenty of room for parking, trailers, and evening gatherings under the stars.

Though surrounded by nature, the cabin now features STARLINK internet, offering reliable high-speed WiFi so you can stream, check in with loved ones, or even work remotely - without missing the peace and quiet of the mountains.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

Local Character: You’ll pass through a historic former coal-mining community; a few old, abandoned homes remain along the way, adding to the area’s rugged charm.

Connectivity: The cabin offers STARLINK internet for dependable coverage, though cell service may still be limited - perfect for working remotely in the wild.

Laundry: No washer/dryer on-site due to limited water supply (nearest laundromat is 20 minutes away in Oak Hill, open 24/7).

Water Source: Supplied by clean, natural well water.
