"Staff are very polite and helpful. The bus stop is just outside the hotel entrance. The room was clean and the kitchenette was very handy. A grocery near by made getting and cooking my own meals easier since I prefer not to eat in restaurants. There is a laundry facility also and there is a great church near by. "

"In general an okay hotel with a central location. The hotel is very old, they have kept the old design in many places and most of it looks well-maintained. It was the first time I stayed at Kimpton Margot. The thing that bothers me is the constant noise all over the place. In the lobby at evening the noise from the hotel bar etc. is significant. I had a room at 6th floor and the pool bar on 7th floor had loud music from noon to 10 pm. From 10 to 11 pm you could hear chairs etc. being moved...
"Very comfortable and spacious apartment, perfect for a family of four. Excellent wifi. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quite nice neighborhood, 5-15 minutes walk to restaurants and shops. Late check-in was easy, and staff very communicative on email before our stay.
Only negatives: Some impractical details: Very few kitchen utensils etc. and everything (soap etc.) is in single-use packages which have to be refilled all the time. No hooks to hang towels etc. on."

"I recently stayed at The Capitol Hotel Sydney and was very impressed. The location is unbeatable, right next to the Capitol Theatre and within easy walking distance of Chinatown, Darling Harbour and plenty of great dining options. Rooms are compact but very well designed and spotless, with handy tech features like streaming options and in-room tablets.

"We had a great 5 days at Meriton. We booked a suite with 3 bedrooms and it did not disappoint. Great view, peaceful and in a location close to public transport.
The minor issues were related to a somewhat low water pressure, and some wear and tear especially on the doors. Some doors were hard to open and close, and the dishwashers buttons were so worn out, you had to guess what they did.
