"The hotel is clean, staff is attentive and its the closest hotel to the airport. We have status and are extremely grateful for complimentary upgrades when available. I do think there is a tiny bit of room making our stay even better by providing wash cloths since they only provide liquid soap and not bar soap. Also, the breakfast is always cold because the warmers are either not on or do not work, not sure. However, I will be back on our next trip to Ecuador because its so convenient. "

The hotel is close to restaurants, bars and clubs and the area seems safe. The hotel staff in the reception were phenomenal and did everything they could to help us. We hope to visit again. "

"This is a wonderful hotel with great service in the heart of old town but off the main street, thus avoiding the street noise. The owner, Alberto, is a wonderful man who had lived in the USA and returned to this family property to turn it into a hotel. The rooms are historic just as the building but very comfortable. The location is quite walkable to many of the historic sites, museums, and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. "
