"Very old colonial estate in central old town Cuenca. If you’re bothered by creaky wood floors and everything old and small rooms, this is not for you. But if you’re enchanted by the quaint setting, kind helpful staff and easy walking access to downtown Cuenca, it’s wonderful. Great price, safe and calm setting "

"We really enjoyed our stay. We got an upgrade when we checked in. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection. The hotel is close to restaurants, bars and clubs and the area seems safe. The hotel staff in the reception were phenomenal and did everything they could to help us. We hope to visit again. "
