"Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location."

"Penn Cove was an interesting,fun place to explore. The beach house was a nice place to call home on our holiday. Loved the porch and fire pit. The one thing we did not know : an active, mussel harvesting company was right next door. Trucks and boats arrive around 6 am. We were ok with it but would have liked to know before booking."

"My kids and I loved this place, the beach out front is perfect for families and the old school cozy cabin feel of the house was really fun. The house was stocked better than I've ever seen a vacation rental with little things that are appreciated like tissue boxes in every room, extra blankets, laundry detergent, sharp kitchen knives, etc. The fire pit out by the beach in the driftwood "forest" was perfect for a fire while the kids crawled among the driftwood. Great spot, we hope to return."

"What a Lovely property this was! I came with my husband and my parents who are visiting from the East Coast and the location was absolutely perfect. Very close to downtown, incredibly clean, and the views were breathtaking! We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony every morning. Five stars! And excellent communication with the host as well. We will definitely be coming back!"
