Location is excellent: on Capri island, Il Geranio is nestled in a quiet historic neighborhood in Anacapri, away from noise and crowd; at the same time though, Anacapri's attractions, historic center, shops, restaurants, bus stops are all within a walking distance.
Piazza Caprile in particular is less than a 5-minute walk away from home; here you can find everything you need (coffe shop, grocery, bakery, restaurat, bus stops, tobacco shop, etc). In Piazza Caprile you can also take a bus to Capri and easily visit the Piazzetta, Faraglioni rocks, Marina Piccola, Villa Jovis, Arco Naturale and much more. Capri's port, Marina Grande, can also be easily reached by bus from Piazza Caprile (the bus stop is a 4-minute walk from home). Direct buses from the port to Anacapri (and Piazza Caprile) run regularly throughout the day too (approximately a 20-minute ride).
Il Geranio is also close to the historic center of Anacapri, San Michele monumental church, Anacapri's cathedral, San Michele/Axel Munthe Museum, etc. Moreover, from home you can walk down to Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto) and Faro/Light House rocky beach, or catch a bus nearby if you prefer. La Migliara panoramic viewpoint is reachable on foot too.
