Kun til transit eller uden indchecket bagage
Tilbragte kun en times tid her, da vi fik tilbudt tidligere rejse videre. Sjovt indrettet og der er klemt meget ind på få kvadratmeter, men rimelig hyggeligt og tilpas til formålet. Dog kunne vi ikke få varmen til at virke - den blev ved med at stå på 19 grader hvilket til os, var lidt for køligt. Bemærk dog at det kun bør bruges i forbindelse med transit og ikke som vi ville - et ophold efter ferie i Amsterdam, så vi kunne rejse hjem tidligt om morgenen. Hotellet ligger i ikke-schengen område hvilket så kræver pas kontrol begge veje, når man skal rejse hjem til et schengen land. Desuden er det ikke muligt at checke baggage ind dagen før hos KLM, og hvis man opbevarer det i lufthavnen, skal man ud og ind igen, hvilket så ikke gør det smart, når man skal rejse tidligt om morgenen. Men ellers er det smart, omend lidt dyrt.

Het is een transithotel, bevindt zich in Lounge 2 in de transitzone van de luchthaven Schiphol Airport. Prima ontvangst en uitchecken was vlot en aardige medewerker. Het hotel ligt midden Kamer is een ‘cabine’, met wc en douche achter een glazen wand, het was erg klein en ook behoorlijk benauwd vanwege weinig verlichting. Thermostaat was ingesteld op 18C maar het bleef erg warm. Voor wat ze bieden is het aan de duurde kant. De badkamer was niet echt schoon, water liep slecht weg en föhn en een badmatje ontbraken. Koffie en thee was inbegrepen en aan de balie op te halen. Koffers konden niet mee in de cabine omdat er geen plaats was. Die hebben we voor 9 euro per stuk afgegeven bij de bagageopslag, deze is 24 uur per dag open. Ons vertrek de volgende ochtend was vroeg, omdat we weer opnieuw door de douane moesten zijn we een uur vroeger opgestaan. Concept is aardig, puntjes op de I ontbraken. Prijs voor 2 personen was 180 euro voor 5 uurtjes slapen. We boekten deze overnachting omdat we gestrand waren op Schiphol vanwege onze geannuleerde vlucht, voor een paar € meer slaap je in het Mercure ook achter de douane, maar daar was geen plek.

Didn't need to exit the airport to access this hotel. Had a 15hr layover but no access outside the airport. This was a life saver. Shower floor was a little cracked and possibly had water going under. Water also pooled into toilet/sink area. But it was such a minor issue that it didn't bother me. Overall, the stay was nice and convenient.

it was very hard for me to find it. I arrived around midnight, passport control was closed. I had to find somebody to help me to go through the passport control to get to the hotel. The location is not clearly described, it was very hard for me to find the hotel. Since it was after midnight everything was closed, I had to ask a cleaning crew to help me to locate the hotel. It is a nice hotel, but severely overpriced. I was charged $204 for the night for the capsule hotel.

Can’t find anything at Sciphol anymore
It was a disaster! First, we couldn’t find the hotel, despite numerous inquiries. Then when we found the hotel, we had to inquire of the front desk how many things worked, lights, bed, etc.

Heading home after a long couple of weeks
Only unfortunate thing is….. took about 45 minutes of walking in circles to find the location. Would have liked a little instruction regarding lights etc as it was pitch dark. Had to find my phone and use the flashlight. A wash cloth would have been handy and the battery on the remote was dead (so no TV). Too exhausted from traveling to go to front desk. All else was good, served my needs. Having to check out at 7am for a 10am flight. A little frustrating.

My wife had a medical emergency requiring me to change our plans and Yotel would not refund our charge even though I gave them two days advanced notice. Last time ever dealing with them!!!
