"Fantastic place to stay food fantastic so was stafe and service .rooms maybe a wee bit to warm .also our room was right above a generator but it did settle latter in the night .didnt like the step at the bathroom quite dangerous .alarge mirror in the bathroom would have been Lovley putting all that a side i will be back and i will be recommending it to freinds ."

"A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see.
Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building."

The room was very clean and spacious with fabulous extras such as the tea and coffee in a picnic basket. The food was top class with a lovely place to sit and have an after meal drink. Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall.
Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use.

"Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.
